Long days and warm nights awaken the city. The list of neighborhood festivals is endless. As is the great music that brings us together in parks and parking lots. We brewed our Session IPA to be easy drinking and endlessly refreshing, so you can enjoy every encore. Bright note of fresh oranges and other citrus fruit with a mild body that is crisp on the palate.

Admin Note: Although this is similar to Forcone, Goose Island assures me this beer is a different recipe for large scale release in 2014 evolved from that original batch for Pitchfork Music Festival 2013.

Can - 473ml. Limpid blond body with lively carbonation and a thick, fading, white frothy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with flowery and grassy hints. Its light taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries grainy, herbal, and citrusy notes. Ends with a decent bitter/herbal finish. Not bad.

Boring and bland hop profile. No malt base and a touch of citrus without any tropical or pine notes. Fresh, crisp, clean and easy sipping.

500ml can pours clear golden with a short lived white head. Good aromas of hops and fruits. A good balanced taste of hops, tropical fruits, and citrus with a mild bitter finish. This is a good clean, crisp beer.

Can from the Beer Store. Crystal clear very pale amber with a small short lived white head. Bright citrus nose with some light floral notes. Flavour is a more subdued than the nose but provides a moderate level of bitterness. As expected from a session, mouth is quite thin with average carbonation and a crisp finish. OK. 7-/3/6+/2+/13

Can. Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is lemon zest, juicy orange and a hint of pineapple, a little bit sweet. Taste is citrus zest, slight tropical fruits. Fairly light and simple, but nicely balanced with just a touch of sweetness and a slightly dry finish.
