Long days and warm nights awaken the city. The list of neighborhood festivals is endless. As is the great music that brings us together in parks and parking lots. We brewed our Session IPA to be easy drinking and endlessly refreshing, so you can enjoy every encore. Bright note of fresh oranges and other citrus fruit with a mild body that is crisp on the palate.

Admin Note: Although this is similar to Forcone, Goose Island assures me this beer is a different recipe for large scale release in 2014 evolved from that original batch for Pitchfork Music Festival 2013.

Bottle, pours a nice golden amber, first sip was expecting something else but this session ale settles well and leaves a nice aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally sampled on 9/10/14. Clear light orange color with a thin white head, minimal lacing. Aromas and flavors of citrus, light pine, and light floral with a light malt flavor. Very light finish with mild hop bitterness. Some bitterness and mostly clean finish.Overall,a nice session IPA.

Decent IPA that had a tiny bit of citrus in the hops but nothing overwhelming. A little sub par or I guess on par for their beers.

(Bottle). On draft on the patio at Bell’s Mansion on my birthday. Amber complexion with big foamy head. Does not stand out among the crowd of IPAs.---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Short and to the point . Very bold, how a proper IPA should be. Great color followed by sensible aroma. Very choice.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark yellow with a half finger of frothy white head. Aroma is mostly citrus with a little pine and tropical fruits. Taste is lightly bitter. Pine with some citrus. Medium bodied with a somewhat watery texture. Fizzy carbonation but a decently long finish. Not bad, kinda plain and subpar.

This was a more or less random pick at a local restaurant. The waitstaff didn't know what kind of beer it was just that it was Goose Island. So I selected it. Hoppy beers aren't my thing. This was pretty much a standard over hopped beer. Nothing special, in my opinion. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
