3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle pours a clear golden amber with a thick pillow head that dissipated quickly with nice lacing. Aromas of dank, Mary Jane, citrus, spruce, floral, resin, and clove. Flavor is medium bitter with a peppery finish. Nice.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark yellow with a half finger of frothy white head. Aroma is mostly citrus with a little pine and tropical fruits. Taste is lightly bitter. Pine with some citrus. Medium bodied with a somewhat watery texture. Fizzy carbonation but a decently long finish. Not bad, kinda plain and subpar.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This was a more or less random pick at a local restaurant. The waitstaff didn't know what kind of beer it was just that it was Goose Island. So I selected it. Hoppy beers aren't my thing. This was pretty much a standard over hopped beer. Nothing special, in my opinion.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Iím guessing this is the Goose Island IPA that I had on tap at a Tiki Bar on Siesta Key in Florida as it was thin, lacking in hop aromas/flavors with a caramel flavor that was unappealing. Goose Island sure has tanked since the days I lived by the original pub in Chicago.

3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
An interesting basil and mirabelle plum nose but the taste is quite poor, there is no finish what so ever. As often, nice smell but not much behind...

12 oz bottle. Fine straw color with a grassy citrus aroma. Taste is bright with a little bite of grapefruit. Nice medium long finish. Very refreshing and easy drinkability.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz bottle from BOTW, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear golden with a decent white head.
Aroma: Some leafy, resinous, peppery hops with a light citrus note and something savoury that is familiar but ethereal...might be vegetal (peas)??, light eucalyptus.
Palate: Medium body with moderate carbonation and an acidic astringency.
Flav.: Eucalyptus and honey, citrus, leafy/herbal notes, not much like the nose with an oddly sweet malt note; off-dry with decent bitterness and a mineral, eucalyptus and honey finish.
I think that this ďSession IPAĒ category is a lousy trend. I find most offerings are a bit thin and unbalanced with odd hop contributions to both the aroma and flavour.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle (Courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 45į. Color is a bright clear gold with good carbonation and a small rocky head. Aroma is sour burnt orange. It has a lighter medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is a bit like the aroma, it comes across like dried orange peel thatís been burnt a bit of citrus and a mellow bitterness. After taste is smooth and bitter with the orange thing hanging on. Overall I donít like it, I canít put my finger on what this taste like but it shouldnít be in beer.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
From a bottle has at first a somewhat lemon appeal that goes almost green citrus rind. Yellow like any pale beer. Yes, somewhat thinner ipa but make no mistake it does have a rather sharp hop kick. As the session continues I start to think its a tuffer apa. After each slug you get that piercing bright bitterness, now Iím thinken like a sharp pils? What a metamorphosis. Just like forcone.
