1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle (Courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 45°. Color is a bright clear gold with good carbonation and a small rocky head. Aroma is sour burnt orange. It has a lighter medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is a bit like the aroma, it comes across like dried orange peel that’s been burnt a bit of citrus and a mellow bitterness. After taste is smooth and bitter with the orange thing hanging on. Overall I don’t like it, I can’t put my finger on what this taste like but it shouldn’t be in beer.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
From a bottle has at first a somewhat lemon appeal that goes almost green citrus rind. Yellow like any pale beer. Yes, somewhat thinner ipa but make no mistake it does have a rather sharp hop kick. As the session continues I start to think its a tuffer apa. After each slug you get that piercing bright bitterness, now I’m thinken like a sharp pils? What a metamorphosis. Just like forcone.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a medium golden color with a small head of pure white foam. The head has a moderate level of retention, fading over time to leave a tiny bit of foamy lace clinging to the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a citrus smell, with it being a nice mix of sweet tangerine and bitter grapefruit hop. Other lighter aromas of a caramel and bready nature are there as well along with a variety of other hop smells. Of these other hop aromas, a grassy and pine smell are the strongest, but there are also hints of other aromas of a floral nature mixed within as well, overall producing a very inviting aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter citrus and caramel flavor with the citrus being largely of a tangerine nature but having some hints of a ruby red grapefruit. Other sweeter fruit flavors of a tropical fruit nature are there as well with some mango and papaya. Upfront there is also a breadiness as well as a lighter bitter grapefruit hop flavor which melds quite well with the sweet ruby red grapefruit taste. As the taste advances, the bready fades some, with it being replaced by more tropical fruits. Some other hop flavors hit the tongue later on in the taste, with a little bit of grass and some floral flavors arriving. Overall the hop remains very detectable, but somewhat subdued and not too potent mixing with all the sweeter fruit flavors to leave a moderately sweet and smooth flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side overall. A slightly thinner body actually may have been a bit nicer for downplaying all the sweeter flavors and allowing the hops to shine through a little more, but even with that said, the feel was OK overall.
Overall – A very easy drinking brew. I really wouldn’t consider it an IPA, but more in the genre of a american pale ale. It had a nice mix of sweet and hop though, making for a good easy drinking and rather refreshing brew overall.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks zvikar. Clear deep golden. Aroma of fruity hops, slightly stale, and some malt, slightly grainy. Flavor has light malt sweetness, slightly grainy, some slightly stale fruity hops and a bitterish finish. Light to medium-bodied. Easy-drinking.
