Sample at the Clybourn brewpub. This beer is a hazy purple-brown color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Concord grape aroma with some notes of malt and bananas behind it. Medium body with a vinous character and notes of bready malt and banana. The finish is dry and fruity with a lingering grape aftertaste. Didn’t know what candice grapes were going in (I assumed the beer was a woman’s name) and overall this is an interesting brew.

draft... murky light purple, body, a bit off... interesting nose of banana, chocolate, wine and oak, interesting and new, I like it... taste is more of the nose, but doesn’t really integrate well, good enough just not crushable, worth trying
