Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich deeper copper hue, gentle haze, rich glow overall. Frothy offwhite head atop with some tannish elements. Aromas are a touch bready and biscuity, some toffee, mellow toast. Bit of earthy dry florals and grass. Fairly simple. Initial is some mellow toast and biscuits, some orange, gentle dry florals and grass. A touch raisiny, darker biscuits and bread. Gentle dryness, touch of citrus, mellow dry earthy hopping. Quite sessionable, right up my alley.

August 6, 2012 on tap at Clybourn. Orangish brown pour with head. Nutty and malty with a light dry bitter finish. Medium body, but somehow was also a bit watery, weird. Solid brew that I would have again, but may have to wait 4 more years.

Draft at clybourn. Pours copper with white head. Aroma has a soft chestnut, with floral hop character, biscuity and earthy rye malt notes as well. Flavors have healthy floral hop bitterness with buscuity and nutty malt notes, touch spicy finish. Lots of flavor for such low alc. Its a bit prickly on draft so Id like a cask sample.
