Bottle as an extra in a trade at some point. 2010. Pours clear red-orange, effervescent, think white head. Nose is vinegar and flowers, lemon and orange. Orvalish, sweet and funky. Orange cherry, lemon, some butter. Dry and mildly funky, clinging to the back of the tongue.

2011 bottle. Pour is hazed bright golden orange with a tight white head. Nose is strong brett, citrus and a good bit of lemon, dusty notes, hint of herbal tea behind. Taste also has a ton of brett, a little overpowering in the flavor, still extremely citrusy with a good bit of lemon. More dusty notes, moderately herbal, hints of cobb webb. Body is light, even so faintly syrupy in back, very assertively carbonated, and a fairly dry finish.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours orangish with off white head. Taste floral, citrus, sweet, belgian yeast. I loved this. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2011 vintage. Aroma is nice and fruity with a decent floral character. Light spicy phenolic character. Light graininess with a moderate yeast character. Pours a cloudy golden orange with some light brown notes and a fairly thick, somewhat tall white head that displays above average retention while slowly fading to the edges. Moderately high lacing with faint legs. Flavor is less appealing than the aroma with a light graininess and medium citrus and stone fruit. Medium light floral notes with a light bitterness and soft water character. Medium light phenolic notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a really nice beer with a great soft water character and tons of nice floral and fruit esters. I really like the way the aroma is more floral while the flavor is fruity. Nice, balanced phenolic notes.

bottle. Orangish with minimal head. Lightly tart, I’d imagine from the Kombucha. Somewhat floral and fruity. Belgian yeast. Pretty good. Unique.

[Bottle / 2011] Thanks, Mike! Gusher alert! Staggered mix of gold, orange, & amber; hazy with small, floating sediment, topped with almost no head (but it gushed!), just a mild white ring. Aroma is very musty, cellar-like, & dirty, with undertones of light apple & grape skins with a hint of peppery spice. Taste has a bigger Belgian yeast presence; light rotten banana, clove, a hint of cherry tartness, bubblegum, & heavy funk... Musky, funky, dry cheesecloth with a big, dirty cobweb presence. A touch chalky in the finish.

It poured a hazy orange/amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of fruit notes with strawberries, apricots, peaches, pears, citrus, floral notes and an earthy note. The taste was of berries, guava, earthy notes, flowers and a some bitterness. It was medium bodied and pretty refreshing. Good stuff.

Vintage 2011, Bottled 2.18.11 A: Red-orange ale with superb clarity. Less than single finger of off-white, fine head falls to a broken sheet of the same. No lacing. S: Um, hot dogs? The grain and is sweetened and there are floral noses. The Kombucha likely needs much more time to come forward - if it ever will at all. I always have linked this particular tea with pungent, citric tones, and those aren’t here. T: Tastes like the malt profile is deeply influenced with vienna specialty grains. Plenty of tea notes. Slightly metallic at the back end. Continues to remain sweet throughout the life. There is a small Belgian yeast flavor. M: Medium to light body on the style with light to spritely carbonation. leaves palate at equilibrium. O: I don’t think this beer has the quality I was anticipating. I generally really dig their beers. This beer may have capacity to improve with time if (and only if) the Kombucha comes out a bit. Serving type: bottle 05-01-2011

2011 vintage (2/26/11) Aged over 2.5 years. Pours an unclear medium orange. Small white head, lasting. Lovely, complex aroma. Sweet and floral, yeast, moderate fruity, a subtle layer of Brett. Light body, full flavored. Still some decent carbonation yet. Smooth blended sweetness. Tartness has subsided mostly and the sweetness has become quite balanced. A Little dryness. Supremely drinkable. Be patient and set it aside..
