3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured light amber with a fluffy white head. Citrus and floral hop aroma with a similar bitter flavor. Thin body and smooth enough to be quite sessionable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Floral hops on the nose. Golden colour with a good sized and persisting head that is filled with large bubbles, not dense at all. Wow this is drinkable! Good malty flavor up front with a floral an slightly bitter hop presence rounding it out. The hops are there, you can not miss them, but they are very well melded into this beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lightly floral and citrus nose with a bit of malt. Medium bodied. Sweet fruits, citrus, floral, light toasted malts. Refreshing and simple. Well done.

2.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Mute nose. Maybe a hint of malt. Nice caramel palate with a bitter overlay that is quite nice. Lingering hop profile is pleasant with a decidedly citrus note. Darker than I would expect. But not bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Single finger head on a slightly hazy golden with brown hues. Nice session aroma including floral and citrus notes. Flavor is a little more subtle with the floral and citrus hops and there is a stronger caramel and lightly toasted malt presence. Medium body ad moderate carbonation. Overall nicely drinkable, good flavor but there are much better choices for this genre.

on tap (10/8) at giordana’s deep dish pizza in Chicago. poured yellow/haze but settled more into a light beer look golden. had a small bite of bitterness in the first sip but lost bite, hopiness and did finish with a hint of malt

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Goose Island O’Hare. Pale orange pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly zesty and spicy with a little bit of soft juicy orange pulp as well. Lean bodied with a nice crackery malt flavour. Light and zesty with a bright fresh finish. Great balance and excellent quaffibility. A great brew really. A touch of woodiness to the bitterness that also works.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Got on-tap at Kelly’s Pub in pint glass.
A: Pours a light golden color with a one finger pearly head. Looks like the typical APA.
S: Pretty citrus notes come through at the front. Almost a lemon and lime smell to it.
T: Taste pretty much mimics the smell. Lots of citrus, but the hops come through and really tone it down. It balances very nicely.
M: Crisp and light body with a high carbonation that flows nicely.
O: Solid APA, one that if I’m out would definitely drink over the typical other ales.
Serving type: on-tap

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
orange yellow in color... aroma is light hops... flavor is water with a hint of hops, not much bitterness in this pale ale, must be skewed by living on the West Coast.... Good alternative to Bud Light but suboptimal for a pale

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
20 ounce sample at the Goose Island bar in O’Hare Airport. The aroma is bright with citrussy grapefruit and some piney PNW hops present. Light underlying caramel maltiness with some biscuit character. Nice. Transparent copper body with a small, medium off-yellow head present. Starts floral with a little herbal mintiness present. Becomes quite sugary and sweet in the middle. Finishes with a light citrus/orange zest flavor. A little sweet, and borderline cloying.
