2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
APPEARANCE- Golden color and very clear. The white foamy head is fed continuously with effervescent bubbles. It’s quite a treat to watch.
NOSE- very light, even for a pale ale. No hop, slight typical ale scent.
FLAVOR- also extremely light even for a pale ale.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Orange biscuit malt and metallic orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Body a bit light. Nothing bad but pretty underwhelming - a very basic APA.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This bottled brew from a bar poured a small white colored head of foamy finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and finished with a weak tingly feeling but of medium hops. The aroma was mild and hoppy. The flavor contained notes of hops, mild citrus, and semi-thick malt. An OK brew, but not one I would buy again. Goose Island can do much better.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Yellow, highly carbonated & gassy. Unpleasant bitterness-one dimensional. No malt character or yeast esters-more like a lager. Some hop aromatics, but kind of a metallic taste. Probably from Baldwinsville.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 1/14/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/floral/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness that lightly increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice American pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/floral/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light copper beer with a white head. Aromas of mild hops. Tastes of biscuit, flowery/herbal hops, lemon zest, and some caramel. Bittersweet finish. A bit watery and bland. Not doing much to stand out. Yet it is easy enough to drink out in hot weather.

Drank at ACBF, pours golden clear. Not noticable aromas to tell. But a good pale ale nonetheless!

on tap @ Hebron Brew Haus / Hebron KY --- Clear light amber color, full white head, sheets of lace. Taste is sweet malt and toast that adds solid carbonation and fresh grass on the swallow, then a jolt of hops that allows some malt to remain. Light, solid on a warm afternoon.
