COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Green Line Pale Ale is a honey-colored, immensely sessionable American pale ale with a pronounced, bright, American hop aroma and citrus flavor. Notes of biscuit and lightly toasted malt create the backbone for Green Line’s pleasant, crisp bitterness.

Grain and cereal malts, light bread, caramel. Clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light sweet. Intense grain and bread malts, caramel, bitterness coming up, dry finish, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Nice APA, well balanced, glad to see a decent cask offering from GI. Cask at the brewery tap room, Chicago.

Bottle. Pours gold with a huge white head that dissipates to a filmy head. Fairly good cling. Aromas of roasted malt and citrus. Flavors are buttered corn, black pepper, roasted malt, bitter citrus, oak and dry grass. Crisp and dry. Peppery hop finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Interesting beer. Not bad.

Pours a clear golden brown from the bottle with thin bubbly white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of faint biscuit malt and caramel with an underlying pine hop note. Taste follows, clean and crisp, mild hop, mostly malt, a bit aggressive for a pale. Meh.

Perfectly as described. Bright citrus hops aroma on a yeasty malty backbone, with a slight pleasant bitterness throughout. Very good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the OHare brewpub. Golden pour sudsy head. Nose is citrus and grainy. Tastes of biscuits, cracker, citrus and malt. Straightforward and clean but no real pop of flavor

Draft at Misconduct. Deep clear dark gold pour with soft wet cream-colored foam. Clean bright hops. Medium-toasted grains. Burnt orange peels. Hardwood resins. Not much aroma, but short solid flavors. Waving caramel malts underneath. Some hop spice in the finish. Some grassiness. Spring onions. Green caramels. Not my favorite but not awful.

Spent all morning clearing land and now back to relax for a bit. A decent IPA for a 100 degree day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Goose Island Green Line Pale Ale) Tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam, 250ml served into a chalice. Copper orange colour on the body, mostly clear. Thick and very tall white head on top, with very good retention. Aroma of light caramel malts, faint citrus, orange peel, tangerine. Medium thin body, carbonation on the low side. Good but nothing special.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear light golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is citrus driven with some malt. The taste is pure citrus with some toasted malt. A nice example of an American Pale Ale.
