Green Line Pale Ale is a honey-colored, immensely sessionable American pale ale with a pronounced, bright, American hop aroma and citrus flavor. Notes of biscuit and lightly toasted malt create the backbone for Green Lineís pleasant, crisp bitterness.

On tap at the Chicago OíHare Airport. Nice to try something new from Goose Island, but disappointing that they didnít have the Bourbon County Stout promised by the menu. Oh well. Pours a very light orange, nice head. Aroma is light biscuit malt and faint citric hops. Flavor is a match. Not bad, but just a run of the mill pale ale.

Pour is a crystal clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is kind of a weak mixed bag of caramel malt and some hops. Flavor is kind of the same. Pretty heavy on the caramel malt not so heavy on the hops. Watery finish. Nothing special.

Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Caramel and resin aromas. Sourdough, caramel and sweet marshmallow. Lasting, dry sour malt finish.

Pours a very clear amber with a medium head of white foam. High carbonation. Not much aroma. Taste is fairly light and finishes a tad bitter. OK but not that great.

Pours a very clear golden color. Medium carbonation. One finger or less white head. Only light film lacing remaining. Eh...

Aroma is pleasantly complex. Thereís a lot going on. Like the label says, it has a juicy Aroma of citrus. Iíd guess orange and orange zest. Floral hops. A little wet grass and mud. Light toasted malts are in there, quite abundantly. Smells sweet and biscuit.

Taste is pretty well balanced. Not nearly as bitter as most APAs. Leaning to the sweet side. Not as juicy or citrusy as it smells. Itís pretty bready. Clean, smooth finish. Maybe a little doughy finish.

Mouthfeel is medium body. Creamy and smooth. The flavor, and the low ABV, make it very drinkable and sessioinable.

Overall, this is a little short of an APA. Anyway, whatever the style you want to call it, itís really quite good. Iíd recommend this, and Iíd strongly consider buying this again.

Sampled at the mile, glad that was all I did wth this InBev garbage. Pours clear gold with large white head. Looks and smells like a lager, floral malt, Belgian fruit, and banana. Nothing else, no hops coming through in any way. Also some corn and vanilla sugar. Rough as hell yo

Rated on 5-28-2016 (Bottled on 10MAR16) The appearance is a large foamy, fizzy white head that mostly diminished, yellow transparent body, fast rising carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is light citrus hops, floral, fruity, bready, and malt. The flavor presents light-moderate bitterness, citrus hops, bready, sweet, and malt. This beerís mouthfeel is light carbonation and this is a light-medium beer. An uneventful beer and not one of the better Goose Island beers that I have drank/rated.

Citrus hops with some grass and honey. Mid yellow/ golden body with a thin ringed head. Faint citrus with toast with some honey in the flavor, decent maltiness in the finish
