Green Line Pale Ale is a honey-colored, immensely sessionable American pale ale with a pronounced, bright, American hop aroma and citrus flavor. Notes of biscuit and lightly toasted malt create the backbone for Green Line’s pleasant, crisp bitterness.

Then only saving grace of getting stuck at O’Hare airport (as usual) is drinking beer and eating Sriracha wings at Goose Island pub. Decent beer. Too tired to say more.

Tap @ Giordanos Hazy golden straw w islands of white creamy foam. Not much of a nose.. Your typical light pale ale nose.. Taste is middle of the road us pale ale with light fresh hop. It’s detectable and goes well w the light malt base. Light bitter hop aftertaste. Mouthfeel Is fresh, alive and light.

On tap at Chili’s ORD. Clear medium gold with a small off white head. Nose is mostly tofee and biscuit with light floral and citrus. Flavour is mostly medium sweet toffee with only a hint of bitterness. Mouth is slightly thin and creamy with slightly soft carbonation. Drinks more like an English pale ale.

Tap @ Goose Island, Chicago airport.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Sweet fruity aroma, pale malts, mild hops and faint resin notes. Flavor is sweet with peach and orange, some malty sweetness with faint hops. Too sweet and could be hoppier.

Draught @ Goose Island pub, Chigago airport. Aroma is quite mild with grain, sweetish fruity tones and toffee. Creamy and sticky palate. Flavour has menthol, some grainy malt and gooseberry bush leaves. Finishes with stronger menthol tones. Slightly offensive.

A pretty good, very sessionable pale ale. Malty and light. Light reddish golden appearance. Tried at O’Hare at the GI bar.

Tap at mother Hubbards in Chicago. Dark gold with small white head. Some hop aroma. Pretty crisp, but very standard pale ale. Probably doesn’t need to get distributed beyond the green line.
