Tasted on 6/27/14 from a crown capped 750mL bottle purchased at Bruisiní Ales. Pours hazy, bright, light orange with a thick, fluffy white head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is a really amazing aroma that perfectly blends fresh peach, spicy saison yeast, some funk, a touch of bready malt, and plenty of lactic sourness. The flavor is the same, with the very bright, fresh peach, just enough funk, and a bit of spicy yeast with a lactic, sour finish. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long sour and spicy peach finish. This beer is really good.

2/7/16 Chicago (10 oz $6 cask pour into plastic cup at Goose Island Tap Room). Clear light golden hue, light carbonation, medium puffy white head, generous lacing. Peaches predominate aroma, yeasty and citrus scent as well. Mild sour taste, peaches clear standout with citrus and other vague sweet fruits I couldnít pin down. Very thin texture, no carbonation, very easy going down, somewhat like a beer left out. Overall good offering.

Bomber. Pours a golden orange with a dissipating white head and tart, fruity aroma. Taste is tart and sour up front with barnyard funk and fruity notes into the tart finish.

With Z, late Friday night after watching Fargo, pours a light golden yellowish pour with an ephemeral white head. Nose is pleasantly sour and tart with yeasty notes. Taste is sour with nice funk, not overly tart. Finish is dry, sour and moderately long with a big yeast funky finish . Nice ! Quaff Score 8 / 10

765 ml bottle shared, purchased from Uncork-It, Chicago. Clear yellow appearance with a small white head. Aroma of peaches, tart fruits, sour notes, funky yeast, light vanilla and a touch of white wine. Similar flavor, tart, mildly sour and fruity with a touch of alcohol on the finish. Pretty tasty overall.

Sample at Kurtkeller 022: Pumpkin-tastic 03 on 10/31/2015. Clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart peaches, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is fruity with a peach and citrus aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pours a very cloudy, dark golden yellow color with banana-like hues and a massive pillowy white head that very slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Excellent retention with streaks of soapy lacing coating the glass on the way down. Inviting aroma with a nice balance of earthy farmhouse yeast, wine barrel, musty brett and light fruit. Thereís a decent amount of funk from the bugs and saison yeasts which is nicely complimented by grassy hops, peppery spice and a tame barrel character. Some toast oak and damp basement along with vinous light grape sweetness and a slight buttery presence but itís not offensive or too heavy on the diacetyl. As it warms, the peaches and ester-y light fruit notes stand out a bit more. Juicy canned peaches along with grape, apple and pear. Not the most complex aroma but the brett and farmhouse funk are nicely balanced by light fruit and subtle white wine characteristics. Medium body with tight, tingling carbonation and a strong white wine barrel presence that slightly overpowers the wild yeast, peaches and saison flavors. Not much oak with just a touch of wood/toothpick but there is a really strong sweet vinous fruit flavor with light grape, raisin and buttery Chardonnay. This is followed by some peppery spice, possibly coriander or grains of oaradise, wild bugs and funky farmhouse yeast. Some grass and hay-like flavor along with musty brett and crisp light fruit, especially cider and pear. Light, crisp and refreshing with nice flavor but itís lacking depth and complexity. The white wine flavors are pleasant enough and this beer is very easy to drink, but I just wish that the peaches and farmhouse/saison flavors were a bit stronger. Decent beer but I wouldnít buy it again, especially at itís high price point.

Shared at a tasting hosted by Steve Hackley on September 25. Thanks Steve! This was poured from a 750 mL bottle. The pour is a foggy golden yellow with a thicker eggshell colored head and some good lace. It retains about a finger deep. The aroma is huge saison. All of the spices, bready malts, yeasts, and everything I donít like about Belgian beers slap me in the face. Once I get through that, itís not bad. There is a light sourness, some decent peachiness happening, and a light citrus. There is a little alcohol that comes through on the back end. The flavor is strange. There is a sweetness, the raging Belgian influence, and a light tart peach. This is one of those beers I would like to just be peaches. No need for the saison qualities. The mouth feel is a little off as well. There is a syrupy thick consistency with a bubbly carbonation. The aftertaste is dry, tart, and quick, before moving into a lingering Belgian malt.
