Nose light peaches, pretty tart smelling but not super sour in the palate. Kinda has a wine spritzer character to it. Tasty but largely forgettable.

Location: Sampled at Where the Wild Beers Are, 6/7/14

Aroma: The aroma is tart fruit, some funk, yeast, and some citrus and hop notes
Appearance: It pours a mostly gold color with a fizzy head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is also fairly tart and funky, some fruity sweetness, and a light bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, with a lively carbonation, and a long finish
Overall Impression: This is another interesting sour from Goose Island. Tasty stuff. Definitely something that is worth trying/drinking again.

"Another very nice GI sour that juuust falls short of being worth the big bucks they charge for em. This was a soft sour, just a bit dry, funky and tart with a nice peach flavor that became very nice as the beer opened up. Soft palate and hints of white wine throughout. Easy drinking."

My Bottom Line:
Honey, flowers, soft peaches and wild yeast weave an intricate web of flavor in this tart and slender brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy yellow whine.
-The wild yeast kick in the finish is very agreeable.
-Mouthfeel is bubbly, tart and dry. Lovely.
-Drinkability is quite high.

Bottle at home with the wife. Nose is big brett notes, light peach, some funk. Brett dominates. Pour is light yellow, hazy. Flavors are very similar with the peach being an afterthought. Brett is at the forefront on this one. Brett notes and sour lemon. Not bad. I was expecting more peach flavor based on the description.

Bouteille 75cl @ RBBSG III, courtesy of 77ships. Bottled on Aug 12th, 2013.
