Nose light peaches, pretty tart smelling but not super sour in the palate. Kinda has a wine spritzer character to it. Tasty but largely forgettable.

Bottle from Christmas. Pours out a well carbonated golden color with a moderate white head. Aroma is of funky tart fruit, sweet peaches, light vinegar, bread and horse blanket. Taste is super complex, funky tartness, light woody notes, crisp sourness, nice fruity sweet/lightly tart peaches, barnyard, basement, some more funk. Damn this is good.

On tap @ Haven Gastropub. Hazed peach colored pour with a fluffy white head. Nose is tart dried apricot, white wine, and a touch of mango. Certainly some peaches, too. Mild lemon, grass, and a hint of honey. Light fruit and honey sweetness on the palate. Lots of peach and apricot notes. Dry white wine, mild oak, and a light grassiness. Decent funk to it, slight pineapple as it warms.

A light yellowish orange color, slightly hazy, bubbly fluffy white head. Smells of sour peach, vanilla, barnyard funk, white wine, a slight spice. An initial sour candy bite that gives way quickly to a less sour fruity sweetness that ends with the funky barnyard character and some vanilla/caramel. I'm a big fan of sours that know how to balance the sourness with other flavors and this is a great example. The sour is there for sure but the other flavors get to shine through as well. Love the vanilla like sweetness in the middle and end. Also some rye/wheat tastes towards the end. Fairly dry, good amount of carbonation. Not overly sweet. Good sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving soapy spiders. Barnyard funk aromas. Tart with citrus and summer fruits upfront turning dry in the lasting yeast finish.

765mL bottle. Pours a hazy, golden-yellow, smallish white head with okay retention, minimal lacing. Nose is chardonnay, barnyard funk, light grass, lilies (not getting any of the peaches though... maybe I waited too long?). Mouth is medium-light, effervescent, tart but not overly so, lemon, chardonnay, some light pithy bitterness towards the middle, light spicy yeast, grassy, still no peaches though. I’m admittedly more inclined towards stouts and barleywines than sours, but this one was pleasant (although a bit overpriced in my opinion).

Bottle pour. Pale yellow with thick cloudy head. I was talking about my love for sour ales with someone and they directed me to this beer. Strong sour, earthy aroma. Very tart up front with a mellowing finish full of of peaches and citrus. A little sweet, but mostly sour all around, which is everything I look for in a sour/wild ale. Excellent beer.

Bottle. Pours a beautiful golden color with a slight haze and thin white head that disappears in a hurry. The nose is huge and complex with sweet peach up front followed by sour lemon, grass, pear, yeast, pineapple, savory herb and a nice earthy farmyard funk. Interesting to say the least. This beer is equally as complex for the tongue. Taste is again peach up front but more sour than sweet with pineapple, bright acid, straw, honey, almond, Brett, sage, white pepper, Viognier and the oddest sour pickle note. Medium light body with really nice fine carbonation and a subtle creaminess. Finish is long with lots of sour peach, spice and sweet tropical fruit with decent length. Nicely balanced sour with real depth and a cleverness about it. Great use of funky Brett and wine barrel.
