Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Purchased at the craft beer section in my local grocery. A nice dark colored ale, smooth, not too bitter, and drinkable. Would try it again.

It’s a nice bitter with a very obvious bitter nose and palate. Very drinkable. Could easily be made into a hoppy session ale

Pours a nice golden amber color with a white head and medium lacing. Very little aroma, just a bit of an apple scent and a little malt. Flavor is sour more than bitter with a little aftertaste.

12oz bottles, Milwaukee bench, Chicago bars. Premeditated sessioner with watery characteristics and bland malts joining a selection of decent UK+US hops. Some caramel/toffee, some spice, far from an advocate for ESB’s in the US.

Bottle from Wal-Mart: Appeared a golden orange hue with slight dusting of sediment while a frothy topping of head rested on top. Aroma is mild yet pleasant with a touch of semi-sweet malts and perhaps a spicing from hops. A real solid smelling beer considering the bitter style. The drink is bland with no real taste other than a minor bitterness of hops whereas the malts are missing altogether.

Clear amber with a white head. Fruit and herbal hops on the nose. A bit fruity. This is a drinkable beer.

A good pizza or sandwich beer. It is a really balanced flavor staying lean on the hops (bitter flavors). The smell is very light almost not there so don’t smell this one too long looking for hidden scents. The taste is smooth and fresh in your mouth, the liquid is feels soft almost not very carbonated. Overall this is beer is a standard to follow when you want something simple, pleasing, and drinkable. I would drink this in every season but winter.

Delightfully malty. Very well-balanced. Not especially hoppy, but still pleasantly bitter.
