Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honkerís Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honkerís Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one youíll look forward to time and again.

12oz bottle - Poured a amber red color with medium white head. Aroma is floral hop. A nice malt and hop taste a a medium mouthfeel. Nice lacing on glass as I drank. Overall a really good beer with smooth flavor with nice hop flavored aftertatse. My first Goose Island and will not be my last.

Kind of a mellow pale ale. Halfway between an English and American pale ale. Nice all around.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity, maybe some orange coming through and some spices. Taste is well balanced between the malt and hops, seems to be a little malty for me, again I get an orange Kool Aid taste. Little bitterness, medium body. Went well with pizza.

Had this beer on 6/23/2000. Aroma is a dry, roasted malt scent. Color is a golden brown with good carbonation and head. Taste malty, slightly sour and bitter. Starting with light body that goes down crisp. Finish is a lightly roasted malt flavor followed by a light hop flavor and good bitterness. Itís smooth, fruity and just plan good.

12oz bottle. Pours dark amber with a nice white head. Aroma is malty, sweet, honey, pretty balanced. Taste is sweet, malty, caramel, slightly bitter. Medium bodied. This really hit the spot for some reason. Not the best beer or even one of my favorite styles but I found this to be really surprising. Well made. Good stuff.

355 ml (12 fl oz) bottle, bought at Peckhamís, Glasgow. ABV is 5.0%. Amber colour, large to moderate head with an orange hue. Nice sweetish aroma of malts and plenty of fruity hops, hints of molasses. The flavour is surprisingly short, some fruity hops but a moderate bitterness, biscuity notes.

I ordered this from the tap at a restaurant in Kenosha WI. Pours a darkish color. Not sure what beer the commercial description is aiming for, but itís not this one. No aroma, barely any flavor -- almost all malt. Not sure Iíd try it again.

I was dubious when told this was the most popular beer at the popular Chicago restaurant I was visiting. But this is a pleasant surprise. I canít comment on the color, as this was served in a bottle. Nice spicy and fruity hops aroma, gentle carbonation, slightly yeasty. Sits medium on the palate with a slight, gentle, tinny hop taste. Dry malt adds to sweetness. There is taste of orange peel. Finishes with slight bitterness that quickly leaves.

Yellow amber color, decent head. Malty and hoppy with a short finish. Kind of boring
