2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Bar Louie’s in Flint. Hard to detect much of an aroma... a little hops, but not much else. Flavor was of malt and hops. It was OK... nothing special.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A copper pour with small head. Similar to a an APA. Hoppy aroma with some caramel malt and citrus. Watered down flavors of citrus, malt, caramel, and hops. Just another average offering from goose island.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a clear copper color into pint glass. Little to no lacing. Taste is predominantly carmel malts with hints of citrus and spice. Undernotes of overroasted malts are slightly out of character. Very crisp and clean. Not my favorite, but fine enough.

Good Bottle beer now being served on tap at a few of my favorite bars locally. Interesting flavor and refreshing taste. I’ll have to get down to the brewery sometime and try it fresh.

Couldnt even tell that this was a pale ale. The hop presence was almost non existent. Below average for me.

12 oz bottle from a Variety pack. Beer pours to a amber color with a minimum head. Small hop nose with some malt aroma. Taste is of malt and very smooth with a bit of a bitter hop finish. A Goose Island standard that has always drank well

Got a 6 pack of this for my Birthday last year. My friend from Indiana said this was her favorite regional beer, now I see why.

Draft. I thought this was a below average pale ale, as the hop presence was not there. The malt flavor was nice and drinkable, but the beer needed some hop balance.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass, cloudy orange with almost no head. (This was an aggressive pour, wondering if the bottle was a bit flat.) The aroma was dominated by roasted malt. The flavor was a nice balance of roasted malt and hops. Very smooth, little bitterness. Nothing stands out too much, but a smooth drinakable session beer.
