Rich amber color, slightly cloudy. Nice fruity aroma. Mellow flavor, mildly sweet with a little hoppiness. Hint of citrus? Pretty good overall, but something’s missing here that would make it top notch.... I don’t know what. For $5 a 6 pack? Hell yeah!

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2005 rerate-ya know, this beer is nothing special, but makes a good session ale when at chicago bars with this on tap-this has a very unique finish, something that i cant describe-more english than american PA.
rerate again-i have altered and messed with this rating so many times. all in all, this beer is a pretty decent session ale. the beer pours light amber with a soapy off-white head. toasty/carmel/malty aroma with a touch of citrus and light yeast. the flavors here are pretty good-decent malts, but not much of a hop presence. the beer suffers from a tea-like palate, but i didnt bring the palate score down due to easy drinking abilities.

A very good pale ale. The first few tastes are quite citrusy, and then it levels off and the beer acquires more of a malty flavor. A very good experience overall! Up there with Sierra Nevada, but I would not go so far as to say it is just as good or better.

A pretty standard pale ale. Some bottles are clearly better than others and when fresh on draft, this beer is great. Citrusy and crisp. Could use a little more hops and malt. Hit or miss - sometimes tastes liek iced tea.

Has nice red tint color, Not overpowering on the hops,I sure it would be better on tap. Was expceting a little more hop to come out.

Nothing really stands out. No real aroma to speak of, little head. Dark reddish amber. My first sips tasted good; slightly fruity, refreshing. First beer of the night. After those first few sips it got boring. The further down the pint I got, the thinner and more tired I became of it. Very mild in all aspects, I guess a stepping stone beer.
