COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honkerís Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honkerís Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one youíll look forward to time and again.

I wish I could like this beer more, since it is local, but I canít. Malt is apparent, as is hops, but not enough of either to make it interesting. I donít know if my tastebuds are shot after drinking primarily hoppy beers as of late, or if this is just an average beer that gets promoted to hell out here in Chicagoland.

Malty fresh, slight hoppy aroma. Mild toffee/carmel flavors. Dry, fruity finish. Medium bodied. Rather average beer. I have had this and the christmas ale and I dont feel anything special about these beers. Not bad, but could be more interesting.

Bright, slightly hazed amber color. Sparkling with light sticky almond head. A light hoppy nose with citrus and grapefruit . Just a touch of sweet malt in the aroma trying desperately to get through. Sweet malt behing the scenes. Spritzy with a solid hop bitterness that fades in moderate time. Straightforward and somewhat boring.

Pours a deep dark amber with a small head. Nice toffee aroma. Taste is kind of boring but very nicely balanced with caramel malt, hops with a touch of fruity citrus. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is full, round and creamy. A decent easy-drinking brew.

On tap in a downtown bar in Maryville, Mo. Nice amber color. Thin white head. Hop aroma and dry flavor that comes from the gracious application of IBUís. Could use a little more malt body, but this is a very drinkable everyday pale ale. A true delight on tap in a faux college town. Love the tap handle of the goose head.

One of the better beers, although not as good as Sierra Nevada or Boulevard.

A nice ale. Not wery bitter but pretty refreshing and a bit more mainstream, it sells a lot, thatís proberly why the brewery says it is the best beer in town, but it is not.

light amber color. lightly hoppy aroma (cascades?) , a little malt in the nose too. nothing overly complex in the body, solid malt backbone with nicely balanced hops. not an overly hoppy APA, but instead itís a really likeable mild pale ale. i will buy it again.

Amber Coloring. Hoppy Flavor with some Bitterness. Easy enough to drink. Nothing Special. Had at O.C.
