COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Great session beer. Malty aroma and flavor, some caramel there with some spiciness, but mild. Easy beer to drink.

(12oz bottle, best by 6/1/05) Large off-white head atop a clear dark amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, floral, pine, caramel, light lemon. Taste is medium sweet, floral, orange, caramel, tea. Watery light-medium body, light acidity -- a very drinkable session ale.

A very enjoyable all the time brew. Nothing fancy, just a plain solid pale ale with flavor enough to entice the taste buds, but not too overdone where you cant drink it while eating. nice citrus taste with a wonderful thirst quenching ability (rare in good beers, to me anyways). Overall one of my favorite regular brews to purchase.

Clear sparkling copper body topped by a forthed milk head that collapses quickly but leaves a nice bit of lace behind. The aroma is quite citrusy, light lemon, lots of orange. The flavor is lighly bready, medium citrus hoppy and medium bitter. Medium dry body. Pretty quenching.

(bottle) Lovely deep golden colour, although head doesn’t amount to much...not the end of the world...good full hoppy aroma. Palate is medium to full, well balanced malt & hops with a reasonable finish. A good bottle-conditioned beer, available at good Victoria Wine branches...ask the manager to get it in!!!!

Pours a crystal clear light copper color with a medium bubbly white head. The head is short-lived but leaves enough around the edge of the glass to create some lacing. There is moderate hop aroma with notes of sweet and dried fruit. Astringent mouth feel. Initial dry hoppy flavor fades rapidly on the palate. Leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Good choice in a bar setting...when nothing else decent is available. This is way too watered-down for my taste. Goose-guys are obviously dumbing this one down for the masses. Try their Demolition Ale instead, and you’ll see what I mean.

Interesting fruity aroma, dried apricots jump out in particular, with a hint of herbal hops. Clear copper color, thin white head. Flavor is unique, tea-like hops, a hint of smoke, sweet caramel, and those dried apricots again. Medium body, dry finish. Not a big fan.
