Great colour, and a fantastic smell. The flavour was great at first, but quickly faded away. Not a bad beer, but not my favourite APA. A great beer to have real quickly between Terminals 1 & 2 at Chicago O'Hare (ORD).

Do I rate by flavor or by style? I suppose by flavor, with comments on the style. This had a rich British Isles taste, I suppose coming from the malts and hops, with a bit of a peaty character thrown in there. I happen to like this flavor profile, but APA it most definitely is not.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Inviting dark amber color, diminishing head. Dry spicy aromas and flavors, English malt character. Finish is less dry, with a little caramel sweetness.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice pour: spicy invitedness in aroma, a little short on the head, beautiful amber color; taste is appropriately malty with carmel undertones. reason for re rate becomes peppery with warming.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thin body with a good dusting of hops. Nice malt tang. A pleasant, drinkable beer, but nothing special. Nice bottle, but a bit small.

Good, but not great. This seems to be Goose Island's standard bearer, though there are stronger beers from that brewery, especially some seasonal ones.

Not to bad on tap. A little to much malt for an APA but I can live with it. This is not as good as Great Lakes Burning River.

Nice, reminds me of a hefewiezen. Nice color, a full but light palate.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled on draught. Malty, lightly fruity aroma with a hint of caramel. Light to medium amber color, slightly hazy, with a small but creamy head. Flavor is uncomplicated, with a bit of lightly fruity, caramel malt and a gentle hop bitterness. Finish is mostly hoppy and smooth. Light to medium body. Palate is a bit on the thin side. A definite session beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
copper color with small head, floral hop and malt aroma, well balanced, and a bit thin, but still a good session type beer
