Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

2015/11/10 - Pours a clear copper colour, with a foamy, off white head that slowly reduces and leaves no lacing. Aroma is caramel, biscuit, citrus, wild berries and herbal notes. Taste is slightly sweet and mildly bitter with herbal hops, light caramel, light citrus, mild roast and cracker. Mouthfeel is light to medium with sharp carbonation and a sharp, drying finish. Pretty ho hum. Not terrible, but certainly not exceptional or creative. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle. Pours an amber colour with an off white head which dissipates quickly. Pleasant recognisably American aroma. Fruity hops, slightly herbal and a sherbet like sweetness. Medium sweet taste with light bitterness. Very easily drinkable and pleasantly satisfying ale. Quite good.

Rating #1252 - 15.09.2014. On tap at Keg N Cork growler bar. Clear golden pour with a thick, frothy white foam that seems to go on forever. Taste is quite bland, bitter malts, honey and very creamy. Finish is quite smooth, rather enjoyable.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Appearance- a crystal clear light copper color with a medium white head. Aroma- full of malt with some fruit in the background. Taste- a really good blend of caramel and malt with hops giving it a nice full flavor. Another really good offering from Goose Island.

Pours a slightly hazy bronze, with a nice head and some lacing. Sweet caramel and herbal hops. Toasty malts and a hint of caramel mix with grassy, earthy hops that leave a little bit of citrus lingering. Pretty tasty
