3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hfmejias (352) - Dover, Delaware, USA - MAY 3, 2013
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Pours a very nice looking reddish amber (clear) with a nice white head, OK lacing too. Aroma of grain, malts and yeast quite faint, some fruit in it too. Taste is malty sweet but it also has a nice bitterness to it, hardly any hops; but overall is a very decent drinkable beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 bubbleflubber (1423) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAY 3, 2013
On draught at the East Village Grille, this pours amber into the glass with a wispy head that leaves thick suds lacing. The nose is somewhat fruity. Flavors are citrusy with some tart cherry, lots of tannins through the mid-palate, and a nice clean bitter to balance. Light-bodied and semi-active in the mouth, it's an easy quaff. English style prevails strongly here.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 valpoaj (531) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Wow...another I consumed at a picnic and was surprised to see I had not rated it previously...probably had upwards of 4 dozen of these in the past decade plus, as it is a ’upper-middle class’ beer at your standard Chicagoland party...pours a standard amber brown...medium whitish head. Aroma is bready/biscuity/doughy...some sweet malt, generally bitter. Flavor is both sweet and bitter...not particularly ’hoppy’ - some caramel notes. Palate is light-medium and this is an easy drinker with a bitter finish...will this blow your mind? probably not, but it is a highly sessionable, well-brewed ale.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ozarkspops (197) - - APR 29, 2013
Clear amber pour. Cloudy eggshell head with lots of retention and lacing. Aroma is very traditional English ale aroma. Biscuity malt aroma and English yeast aroma. Then becomes more american with earthy floral hop aroma on the back end. Flavor is very similar. Malty, bready, yeasty up front. Hop flavor finish. Very smooth neutral finish.
