Not too bad for an ale. A little hoppy but not near as intense as others. I wouldnít turn one down but if itís more than a couple I would probably take a pass...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle to glass
Aroma: smells of delicious caramel maltyness, slight hint of chocolate
Appearance: a clear light copper body with a just off-white well-sized head
Taste: light on the bitter, medium on the sweet
Palate: feels very light-bodied and thin with soft carbonation. The finish however is pretty long for a beer of this type. Leaves quite the impression.
I really enjoyed this easy-drinking ale. Very smooth caramel malts with the slightest bitterness. I would definitely enjoy this again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bobís.
Amber-brown pour with a reasonable-sized off-white head. The nose is surprisingly fruity, some yeast as well. Relatively thin as one might expect at 4.3%, flavors brown bread with metal and some cider.
Not bad, not spectacular, props for low 4% abv.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On top of a nice orange amber body sits a good two finger tall eggshell colored foam head. The head hangs on well and makes cool lace patterns on the glass. The aroma has a nice sweet maltiness with caramel and a good balance of citrus hops. Up first there is a simple bready maltiness with some mild caramel like sweetness and light toasted grain with faint hints of fruitiness. This is balanced by pleasant citrus and leafy hop bitterness. The medium body has a smooth feel and drinks easily.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(On tap) Pours a clear copper with one finger of fluffy head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, heavy lacing. Nose is predominantly biscuity english malt, faint pine and citrus hops. Taste follows suit, with a mellow caramel sweetness followed by a mild bitter finish. Mouth feel is medium-bodied, with low carbonation and and off-dry bitter finish.
Not my favourite style, I admit. But as it goes, not bad. The malt isnít overwhelming, and is decently balanced against the mild bittering. Itíll do, I guess, but I wonít have a second.
