COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Sweet but hoppy aroma. Syrupy color with medium effervescence. A bit of bitterness initially with a slight malt finish...a little English in style. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle.... Brewed in Baldwinsville, NY. Labeled 4.2%. Bottled 3/1/13. Pours a clear orange, slightly red color. Thin off-white head. Few bits of lace, nothing really sticks. Lighter body. Kind of lighter, but rougher carbonation. Lightly dry in the body, but with a light stickiness in the finish. Some rich malt, lightly toasty, some caramel malt, light musty, light metallic, light hint of spice, little bit of dark fruit. Not a really well integrated combo, overall the beer is not very agreeable or tasty, and definitely tastes macro. Moderate bitter taste, moderate malty sweet, lightly spicy. Pretty disappointing beer.
