Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Clear amber pour. Cloudy eggshell head with lots of retention and lacing. Aroma is very traditional English ale aroma. Biscuity malt aroma and English yeast aroma. Then becomes more american with earthy floral hop aroma on the back end. Flavor is very similar. Malty, bready, yeasty up front. Hop flavor finish. Very smooth neutral finish. ---Rated via iPhone

Style et résumé: Bitter.
Comment: Canette de 473ml.
Description: Une belle robe cuivrée.
Note: 7/10

On tasting at High Point. Golden color, malty and somewhat hoppy. Quite drinkable stuff, but nothing more.

On tap @ Clybourn: Amber color. Floral aroma. Rich fresh bread and biscuit maltiness, low carbonation. I thought this was a nice, flavorful interpretation.

Kolor bursztynowy, miedziany, klarowny. Piana w kolorze ecru, niezbyt wysoka i momentalnie si? redukuje, tworzy zaledwie cienki film. Aromat: s?odowo, jest s?odko, karmel, br?zowy cukier w smaku jest w?a?ciwie podobnie, karmel br?zowy cukier, lekka przypalona nuta, i ... ... grapefruitowa, sucha goryczka. ?rednio d?uga idealnie balansuj?ca s?odycz, to du?y plus. Wysycenie ?rednie w kierunku do niskiego.

Hazy amber color with floating detritus and a low amount of activity. Weak white half a finger head that lasts no more than 5 minutes, with moderate amount of legs. Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, and bread. Flavors of sweet grains, lemon, caramel, ginger, herbal and floral spices. Bready, roasted and grassy feel. Pleasant sweetness with a nice sharp feel. Smooth medium to full body with a perfect amount of zesty carbonation. Light to medium strength finish of short length, ending with a sweet smoky caramel feel and faint grassy noble spices. Overall good quality craft. Tasty flavors that are well balanced. Good freshness and nicely bodied.

12oz bottle. Pours Amber with medium head. Not much of a nose. Hoppy, sweet to mild bitter. Not a bad drink, but nothing remarkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
