4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 AaronDaniel (24) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 21, 2012Delicious! I love a good slightly sweet malty beer with balanced (not prominent) hops. This beer is very drinkable and refreshing. It’s drinkability makes up for it’s low ABV. Easily one of my favorite everyday ales.

Pretty good, but now part of "And how’s her bush", so there is reason for skepticism about how this will all flesh-out. Watch how it will all of a sudden start hogging shelf space, now that AB owns it. It is all about shelf space and distributors in the liquor business.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 kerenmk (1214) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 16, 2013

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 christ0ph (10) - Hamar, NORWAY - MAY 16, 2013
Okay aroma of classical english ales, biscuit appearence and a palate close to the english bitters. Malty taste which is heavy but delightfull.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 chinchill (580) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 14, 2013
12 ounce bottle from Fort Collins, CO was served chilled in a snifter.
Appearance - Poured sparkling clear, dark amber in color, with a fine, creamy bone-colored head. The head had disappointing retention. Good lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell: About equal mix of malts and hops; A bit floral with hints of brown sugar..
Taste: Like a relatively bitter, earthy and hoppy amber ale: i.e., mildly bitter and true to style. Well balanced. A trace of ripe fruit.
Mouthfeel: Near medium bodied, with good lively moderate carbonation. A bit crisp with a semi-dry finish.
O: Flavorful, interesting and just 4.3% ABV, this is a good session ale.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 monk191 (370) - California, USA - MAY 13, 2013
A decent beer, but not up to the level of other Goose Island Brews. Pours a yellow orange with a white head. Smells and tastes like tropical fruit, but a little boring. Had at bottle rock in napa.

Bottle: amber pour with medium-sized beige head. Aroma is slightly metallic with malt and bisquit notes. Flavor is sweet with malt and honey, with a mild grassy hop bitterness in the middle, and some bready tones throughout. Easy drinking with mild flavors, just a bit much on the malted flavor.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Emeister84 (442) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Aromas of nuts, caramel, and orange peel. Clear orange-amber with a small, fairly lasting, white head. Dry, bitter, nicely balanced with earthy hops and nutty malt flavors. Light-medium body, crisp carbonation, and with a clean finish.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Silverbush85 (41) - - MAY 8, 2013
How is this an ale? Its more like an amber in color. Aroma is hop-malt mix.
Smooth finish - drinkable, but I would recommend this beer for fall or winter.
