COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

A very solid beer. Pours an amber color with little bit of a white head. Citrusy aroma. The hops stand out in this beer. A bitter but well balanced finished. Very smooth and drinkable. Great beer!"

Slightly herbal and spiced aroma. Nice mix of malts and hops. Fairly average, not offensive, however it doesn’t stand out amongst other better pale ales.

From bottle : Pours a very caramel color, with a thin white head, and somewhat hazy. A sweet citrus hop smell comes from this one. Taste is very nice a mellow, i was expecting a sharp stinging taste from the aroma. Very mellow and smooth, with hints of the citrus hops and some malts toward the end. Medium body and a smooth feel in the mouth. Aftertaste is of piney hops, and it lingers a little.

Appearance-- pours a cream colored 1/2" head that recedes slowly leaving decent lacing. Color is amber/copper and mostly clear with abundant carbonation bubbles streaming. Aroma-- very malty -- smells of slight cinnamon and a moist dough, such as a warm muffin from the oven, a peppery hop spice is also evident. Mouthfeel-- mostly light, watery, and refreshing. Has a somewhat lager like mouthfeel with a dry finish, although there is some of the fluffiness which should be present in the English Bitter style. Flavor-- well balanced, hops are in the background and subservient to the malt. Flavors include a peppery and earthy hop spice, a rich bready malt (again like a fresh warm muffin, or a fresh whole wheat bread). There is some caramel and just a hint of cinnamon. This beer is not overly sweet and the aftertaste has a lingering citrus rind bitterness.

330ml Bottle. Pours amber, thin lacing. Great caramalt aroma and taste... A warm tasty putty palate, the best part of this beer. I drank this in my bed.

Rather a typical American pale ale but with a strong green tea element to the flavor and aroma, complementing the normal floral hoppiness. Recommended for tea lovers.
