COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Pours a light copper with small but lingering white head which lasts throughout. Aroma is caramel malt, toffee, citrus and leafy hops. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, fresh and zesty. Compared to all English bitters I have had this comes out better, none of the dank vegetable type taste/aroma. Very nice indeed!

Bottle. Poured a golden color with a redish hint and very carbonated. Aroma of bittering hops is very present. Taste of Clove and citrus and hops is there.

Appearance-- pours a cream colored 1/2" head that recedes slowly leaving decent lacing. Color is amber/copper and mostly clear with abundant carbonation bubbles streaming. Aroma-- very malty -- smells of slight cinnamon and a moist dough, such as a warm muffin from the oven, a peppery hop spice is also evident. Mouthfeel-- mostly light, watery, and refreshing. Has a somewhat lager like mouthfeel with a dry finish, although there is some of the fluffiness which should be present in the English Bitter style. Flavor-- well balanced, hops are in the background and subservient to the malt. Flavors include a peppery and earthy hop spice, a rich bready malt (again like a fresh warm muffin, or a fresh whole wheat bread). There is some caramel and just a hint of cinnamon. This beer is not overly sweet and the aftertaste has a lingering citrus rind bitterness.

Clear amber pour. Cloudy eggshell head with lots of retention and lacing. Aroma is very traditional English ale aroma. Biscuity malt aroma and English yeast aroma. Then becomes more american with earthy floral hop aroma on the back end. Flavor is very similar. Malty, bready, yeasty up front. Hop flavor finish. Very smooth neutral finish. ---Rated via iPhone

Correcte !

Pours a rich amber color with a medium head. Mild bitterness, with some tasty fruit and bread notes. A good beer.

Bottle. Clear and copper pour, decent frothy head. Looks like a nice beer. Aroma is light, some grassy hops and a little malt, not much else. Not much too it in the mouth, a bit of hops, a bit of malt, a bit of water. Actually, it’s pretty refreshing ... probably would make a good lawnmower beer, not so much a middle of the winter beer.

12 oz. Bottle: Transparent Golden with a short lived, but decent sized white head. Aromas are very airy, with some light hops mixed in, also get hints of grains and bread. Flavor is nothign spectacular, grains, slight corn, mellow hops. Finishes short and watery, typical to what I would expect. Like most of their other beers, this would make a nice session beer.

Nice golden orange color with medium large head.Good hoppy smell and taste. Fruit is noticed a little in the mouth. IPA is better. Finishes with a slight hoppy bitterness.
