In my opinion, not Goose island's best beer, but a very good beer nonetheless. Hoppy but actually well-balanced according to type. A good introduction to Chicago's premier craft brewery.

Blah. Bottle might be skunked. Lots of oily head. Looks pretty tasty. Aroma is mild. The flavor is muted. A slightly bitter finish, but over all leaves a clean mouthfeel. Not my favorite.

It’s OK but not really for my taste. A little too citric and bitter. Seems quite carbonated

Bottle. Fizzy medium white head sits atop a orange/amber body, very few bubbles and medium lacing. Pale and biscuit like malts in the nose with a line of fruitiness including (light spiced tea, pear, and mild pineapple). Some (SA) like eartyness, and hint of alcohol in the nose. Very refreshing in an ice tea sort of way. No really assertive hops in the brew, but still tasty. Clean, thin bodied and very drinkable. Nice lingering mild spices in the finish. "APA??" Tastes like an EPA or a bitter to me. Really enjoyed this one.

Pours a clear deep orange, lots of carbonation, about a finger’s worth of dense off-white foam leaving behind quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is very earthy and bready, with some caramel and a bit of fruit. Taste is biscuity and hoppy, a bit grassy, with a bitter finish. Nice stuff.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2004 355ml bottle. Citrus, grapefruit aroma. Maltiness tasted, and typical hoppy bitterness. A nice beer, though not as good as the Goose Island IPA I have tried.

Pretty good stuff. Not as good as their IPA but still pretty dang good. Poured nice golden color with good head retention and good lacing. Fruity taste, ample carbonation. Definitely a keeper.

Pretty good, pretty bland though. I had a few at Miller’s Pub in Chicago last week.....so I have good memories of it.
