3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2013 Medium brown color, small head. Roasted, nutty malts, floral hops with very little hop bitterness. Nice balance. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is malty, with a bit of bitterness. The malts shine through on this beer.

Incredibly malty and hoppy aroma, very sweet. Muddy brown appearance. Really malty, not very ’English country pubs’ to me but better actually. Although slightly surprised by the sweetness, possibly some unfermented malt going on here - not sure. Good, although somewhat simple.

I liked it alot but there is only so much you can do with an ale. After a while you really got to know your stuff to make major judgements on different types of ales. I...well I just drink the stuff. I can’t tell you the strain of hops used.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 13, 2005 This pours a very nice brown with an orange hew with a fine white head that lasts and laces well. The nose is brown (if brown were a smell) and lightly hoppy. The mouthfeel is medium. The malts are very balanced with bittersweet hops, and the tastes are piney, orangish, and grassy. APAs are often overbearing and this one is not. It is a lesson in subtlety, though it could use some more flavor in the trailing end.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

A good Pale Ale. I am not a fan of this style, but I find this beer very drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet, gentle hoppy aroma. Pale amber color with a rocky one inch white head. Grapefruit hop flavor, but very low bitterness compared to other big APA's. Nice, sweet, easy drinking pale ale with an American Pale hop flavor and an English Pale bitterness. Mind-numbingly easy drinking beer which I think is the standard for an American session ale. Go get some. Those of you reporting no head from this beer, rinse your glassware and let this one sit outside of the fridge for a while.

Low, white foam on top of a cobber red ale.
Aroma of sour malt, some hop and some orange.
Flavour of malt and sitrus, with a pleasant bitternes in the back. Medium body, okey lenght, everything is very balanced.
Summary: A decent ale, but nothing special.
