COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by visits to English country pubs, Honker’s Ale combines a fruity hop aroma with a rich malt middle to create a perfectly balanced beer. Immensely drinkable, Honker’s Ale is not only the beer you can trust but one you’ll look forward to time and again.

Bottled on 10.07.13. Poured into a tumbler on 12.30.13. A: See through red/amber. Looks very carbonated. S: Pine, citrus. Smells like an APA. T: Pine, malty. M: Crisp. Lots of carbonation. Maybe too much. O: This didn’t seem complex. It was easy to drink, but boring.

Correcte !

Malty ale with hints of caramel and light citrus. Finishes with a nice lingering grapefruit and sweet malt.

330ml Bottle. Pours amber, thin lacing. Great caramalt aroma and taste... A warm tasty putty palate, the best part of this beer. I drank this in my bed.

On draught at the Irish Embassy. Almost no aroma, probably because it’s so cold. Golden brown with thin white head. Typical bitter flavours of biscuit, bit of lemon and caramel. Not too bad, but rather boring.

Rather a typical American pale ale but with a strong green tea element to the flavor and aroma, complementing the normal floral hoppiness. Recommended for tea lovers.

bottle: pint glass: first beer after knee surgery... aaaahhh. Pours mostly clear orangy copper, leaving a light off white head, maybe 2 fingers. Nose is even, nothing sticks out too much... taste is the same. Roasted malts, some hops, some caramel. A very even balanced beer with no real distinct features.

Pours light amber with small nicely lacing head. Quite hoppy, and light to medium malty aroma. Rather mild, well balanced and round bitter taste.

On draft at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. Pours a thin, foamy white head with a clear, deep orange/amber body. Faint grainy, bready malt aroma accompanied by earthy hops. Flavor starts with toast, then some light caramel and raisin. More light earthy hops and some light fruit - a touch of pear. Medium body, average carbonation. Malt forward with light bitterness. Lingering malt and a touch of sugar on the tongue. Overall very good and sessionable, if a touch shallow for a beer of this gravity.

An attractive brown/amber colour with a small head. Pleasant hops, light fruitiness with some caramel and peach. Ok
