4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Iíve had this bottled and on tap, and either way itís an ultra-dependable beer. I canít think of anything bad to say about it. Solidly recommendable even to the relatively unadventurous. Your grandmother would enjoy Honkerís Ale.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a amber, brown color with a medium white head. A nice malty ale and a great hop balance. Aroma is mostly sweet malts, and the taste follows the great malt and hops balance. A nice drinking beer with a medium palate.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mmm...Poors medium brown with almost no head or lacing. Smells quite nice, with a nice hoppy aroma. Taste is mild and very well-balanced, and maybe a bit too sweet. Nice hop flavor, althought not too prounounced. Malty and citrusy. A good, easy to drink and straighforward beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is a good balance of amber malt, english hops and a touch of caramel. A little nutty too. Pours amber colour with fair lacing head. Taste is well balanced too, clearly an english style bitter. Getting some slight roasted malt, quite a short aftertaste, slight biscuit note. Pretty enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Iím not a fan of the style, and if 312 or the IPA or any of the seasonals is on tap/on sale Iíll choose that. But if not, its still a solid ale: pretty hoppy without much sweetness.

Big thanks to footballguy TD32 for this midwest brew.
Pours a clear amber color that forms into a medium sized head that faded preetty quick. Smell is the smell of a bitter, pretty good. NOt a bad taste, but pretty light IMO for an English Bitter. A solid drinker though, just nothing special.
