Copper pour with a sweet nose of caramel and malt. Bitter taste that transitions to that malt sweetness at end. Easy drinking.

Clear amber. Small white head. Aroma: Citris, wood. Flavor: Hops, grass, spices, somewhat thin but very drinkable. Dry, hop finish.

Pours a light hazy amber color with a quarter-inch cream-colored head which quickly dissipates. Caramel malt, bread, and spicy/piney hops in the nose. Light in body and drinkable. Lightly carbonated with a short finish. Bready malt, lightly sweet in the flavor, but finishes pretty dry. I suppose itís a solid example of an English Pale Ale. I found it bland.

Decent, but somewhat bland. Nice malts and not too bitter, which was nice.

I bought this beer before going to my parents place to watch the Bengals play in their first playoff appearance in 15 years. They lost, making this beer the only enjoyable part of my day. 12oz bottle. Hoppy sweet flavor, long bitter finish. Nowhere near overpowering. Simply an enjoyable beer, pleasing for anytime.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2008 Color of an old penny. Hard to judge the head because it was served with a clear plastic cup to pour the bottle into. That being said, it made a small, rapidly dissipating head and left a little lacing on the plastic cup. Malty nose with a slight fruitiness. Nice balance of simple malts and hops in the flavor with a bitter hop finish. Had I not known the type, and been asked to guess, Iíd have guessed ESB, and a pretty good one at that.

Smells extremely pleasant - hoppy, but not overly so. Poured a great golden amber white a medium-sized white head. Taste is excellently smooth - medium bitterness, but very easy to drink and very good. Overall, itís an excellent English Pale Ale that could benefit from a bit more hops, but thatís not a dealbreaker by any means.

Not too bad for an ale. A little hoppy but not near as intense as others. I wouldnít turn one down but if itís more than a couple I would probably take a pass...

Draft. Medium brown. Decent roasted malt flavor. Smallish off-white head. A little heavy in the bloat factor. Meh.
