Draught at Flying Saucer in Little Rock. Pours copper with a tall foamy off-white head and spotty lacing. Aroma is floral citrus hop, caramel medium roasted malt (meal) with trace yeast. Medium bitterness and acidic hop flavor, malt body, low sweetness and lasting flavor. Medium bodied and crisp, refreshing palate.

12 ounce bottle from thetomG (Secret Santa Winter 10). Thanks! Pours a clear pale amber color with a medium sized frothy offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, toasty malts, husky grains and a floral hop finish. The taste is bitter hops, bitter malts with some toastiness and a grainy finish. Medium bodied. Nice. Highly drinkable.

Bottled: Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light beige head.. Sweet and light caramelly aroma. Flavour is sweet and a bit boring. Watery and thin. Has not much to offer in the end.

bottle from wisconsinbeer, thanks! Deep copper pour, barely any head at all. Aroma is very malty and some sawdust notes(previous entry below me nailed it!). Flavor is pretty plain, malty and maybe a bit nutty. Slight hop profile lends itself to the english style. Not bad, not amazing.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with kramer17801 (thanks!). Bottle labeled BB 031007. Poured a medium and slightly hazy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel and some citrus. Tastes of toasted malts, caramel, and some citrus. Drinkable but kinda boring.

This one was a little disappointing to me because it was not too heavy in the hops department. I don’t know if that is a regional thing (west coast APAs seem to have more bite) but this is still a well rounded and smooth offering from Goose Island.

First time having this. Bottle form september 12. Smell is yeast and light grain. Flavor is bready, slightly hoppy, with a noticeable english yeast character. Rubber in the aftertaste. Lighter bodied.
