Beer_Hawk (615), Murfreesboro (CBS, Kosovo), Tennessee, USA May 4, 2008 Draft from the Goose Island Brewery beer stand in terminal 2 @ O’Hare. Orange in the class with a frothy off-white head that lasted and left light lacing. Sweet & spicy aroma with a hint of citrus. The flavor seemed to have an orange citrus mixed with some malts. Sweet up front with a light bitter ending. Medium body and smooth carbonation. (Rating from 14 Mar 08)
Bov (4559), Bienne, Switzerland Jul 4, 2008 courtesy of Toni Flükiger - slightly hazy amber-orange colour, solid and firm pale beige head; aroma of cream and herbs; low carbonation, very smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness; creamy flowery finish - gentle and inoffensive johntreeter (53), Greenwood, Indiana, USA Jul 1, 2008 12oz. bottle at Table Rock. Pours a copper color with slight haze and a thin mostly diminishing white head that left light lacing. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt and spicy hops. Light body, not too watery texture, lively carbonation, and excellent light bitter and dry mouthfeel. A slightly above average beer, but for 6.99 a sixer in Branson, MO. this was gold. Nephilium (410), Ohio, USA Jun 30, 2008 Touch of biscuit and yeast in the aroma. Pours a caramel colored amber, with a thin, quickly fading head. Touch of sweetness balanced out by clean, crisp hops. A fantastic session brew, and a good introduction beer. dpjuart (498), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 28, 2008 On Draft at Pizzeria UNO in Chicago. Pours amber with white head - good lacing. Nose is caramel with mild hops. Taste is caramel with a touch hop bitterness and mild floral hops. hogan873 (162), Joliet, Illinois, USA Jun 26, 2008 Nothing spectacular, but quite good. Pours a dark gold with a thick off white head. Sweet malty caramel and a bit of grass evident in the light aroma. Medium-bodied and very smooth. The malty sweetness is present up front with notes of caramel. Finsishes clean but with just a touch of hoppy bitterness. An easy drinking, tasty brew.
