On draft at Clybourn goose island brewpub. Wow, this was an excellent APA. The hops and malt was very balanced. Aroma is faint grapefruit, semi sweet, and hoppy. Color is amber. Taste is semi sweet, citrus hops, malty, and caramel taste. Finish is crisp, clean, and not lingering. A must try. A. This would be great with a burger, steak, or pork chops.

Clear Dark Orange with a bunch of carbonation going on. Flavor consists of bread, yeasts and slight floral hops, not very complex but it tastes awesome. Feels nice and crisp on the palate. Itís a good beer to drink for any occasion, and sort of like the description says: Youíll look forward it to time and again!

A damn fine ale (had this on tap). Good body, smooth initial taste, slight hoppy aftertaste, perfect finish.

You know, it really frightens me when I can find something I like this much that comes from that Illnoise place, apart from that cute redhead I met at Summerfest.

Rated 6/9/06: Amazing beer from Goose Island, to date they have yet to let me down. Pours a dirty copper color with a medium thick off-white head, ample lacing and good carbonation. The aroma is outstanding containing a slightly mellow blend of flowery hops and lots of malt. The aroma reminds me of a low key IPA. As I sip on a few of these Iím amazed at the awesome flavor. The hop characteristic is near perfect. They are very present but not overdone. Strong blend of malts keep me intrigued. The balance is perfect. Full mouthfeel with a great finish and pleasant aftertaste. Fantastic beer, I canít say enough about this one.

Delicious. Coloring is not that impressive but it provides a nice white head with definite wheat flavors that are not too over powering

Perfect session ale. Perfect. Packing or lawnmowing beer, maybe not the best in the absolute heat but hey if itís summer and you donít have shit to do and you arenít drinking this, you are making at least one mistake in your day. Awesome caramel malts balance out smooth hops of the citrus vein. Lightly done in every way, this is a light lower alcohol medium bodied gem. No sacrifice on flavor, but perfect drinkability. And Iím sad I just used drinkability to describe a real beer.

Appearance- This beer poured a nice copper color with a huge white head. Lacing was present throughout.
Smell- Wonderful malt aroma with nice hints of hops and sweet caramel.
Taste- Nice toasted malty flavors with a caramel sweetness similar to the nose. There is also a nice hoppiness which provides a nice citrus taste to it.
Mouthfeel- A medium body with a medium carbonation.
Overall- This beer is great!! It could function as a prefect session beer with the great taste and the fairly low ABV. I could drink a lot of these!! Only problem. We canít get this down here in Louisiana. Guess itís time to start bugging the local distributor!

Really an APA/Bitter hybrid, mainly based on the American hops used. Great session beer, among the best.
