hillfiiiiire (171), Atoka, Tennessee, USA Apr 12, 2008 Pours caramel like body with frothy head. Looks quite nice. However, the aroma is a little more sad. Smells of pine hops, but not necessarily good, The flavor is easy, but it’s not interesting. It’s carbonated well. Overall, there’s nothing bad about this beer, but there’s nothing interesting with this beer. I’m just bored.
Uaru02 (7), Simpsonville, Kentucky, USA does not count Sep 5, 2008 A good beer worth having if the IPA isn’t available. Smooth with lots of flavor. Not as hoppy as I like, but good balance. MiP (5096), Flensburg, Germany Sep 2, 2008 Bottle, 4.3%. Clear amber colour, small stable white head. Very caramelly aroma. Teaish, almost to the point of Swedish snuff. Caramelly flavour, also a bit teaish. Quite flavourful for ABV. BlockBrew (83), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Aug 30, 2008 Pours a copper orange color with no head. Smells of orange and some citrus from the hops. Medium body. Tastes primarily of citrus with a nice leafy hops finish. Not to bitter, overall very solid. AllAboutStout (479), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 28, 2008 Pours a dark auburn in color. Decent inch of head sitting atop. Smell is mostly hops. Taste is bitter. Not a hoppy bitter, just a different bitter. Lots of malt in this beast. Medium feel in the mouth and decent. Not a beer that I’ll revisit. meisterbrauMHB (20), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 24, 2008 Very drinkable pale ale. Good balance of hops and malt that finishes with a creamy ending. Worth trying again.
