Aroma is bready, but itís not a very aromatic beer. Amber colored with a medium off-white head. Not very bitter for a Bitter. The flavor is heavy on bread & toast, with some holiday spices - this would actually make a decent winter seasonal. Some crisp hop notes, but itís more of a malt-focused brew. Fairly light-bodied, and the flavor fades pretty quickly.

One of my favorite bitters nice color... Not overly hoppy. And not too carbonated. A real traditional English bitter.

Coming from the Hinterlands of Ontarioís LCBO domain Iíve only seen the Vintage versions of GL beer, which are exceptional. This is the first regular beer, if seasonal, Iíve had. So...Pint poured in a random Philly airport restaurant. Pours dark amber with finer of fluffy beige head. Smells of hops and caramel malt. Taste caramel malts, bitter malts, some ash on the finish with some lingering bitterness. Generally good beer. In a airport no less. 5 years ago it would all be Bud, MGD and Labatt Blue as the import. weíve come a long way baby. Donít worry about this one Tiki.

Tap at Darcy McGeeís Orleans. Pours burnt orange limited head with some lacing. Nose is sweet. Flavours or light caramel, maybe some honey, some Cheerios. Taste light/med sweet, light bitter. Medium body somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Nice beer.

bottle, pours light amber, slightly hazy, with off-white head. Sweet malty aroma of caramel and cookies, with hoppy citrus and resin note. Taste is malty, caramel, with light bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation, bit tart aftertaste.

On draft. Not much aroma. Pours orange. Taste is bitter with a nice hoppiness. Good summer time beer in my opinion. I could drink a few at a time. Not sure why it is rating so low on here.

Draft @ Golden Crust, Red Lion, PA. Pours amber/brown, head was thin but lacing was there. Aroma of bread, nuts and herbs. Taste is mildly bitter, lots of malty sweetness. Body was light, medium carbonation, mouth feel was a little thin. Finishes earthy bitter (herbs, flowers) and toasty malt sweetness. A good example of a English style bitter.

With my parents on the way to the Lakehouse. Aroma is idk I am drinking from the bottle. Taste is nice smooth bitterness on the earthy side but fresh and light. I like it. I order this stuff when I am out and there is not too much on tap.
