COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Goose Island classic, once considered quite hoppy, is a nicely balanced American Pale Ale. It is brewed with flaked barley, plus pale, caramel and wheat malts. It is hopped with Willamette and UK Fuggle in the kettle and the bright tank. Hopscotch is one of our most popular seasonal beers, so make sure you have a pint before it’s gone.

Draft: Poured a light golden color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with light cereal notes. Taste is a mix of light cereal notes with some floral citrusy hops notes and light bitter notes are also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Refreshing and enjoyable without being entirely focus on hops.

A hazed golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light citrus pulp, OK. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, citrus pulp, very nice and smooth. On tap at Clybourn location.

Pours bright orange with a bubbly, foamy white head. Aroma is floral, nectar, resin, citrus, and bread malts. Flavor is floral and earthy, bread malts, nut, and hints of grapefruit. Has a thin body. Dry. Not bad, lots of complexity.

2/8/16 Chicago (Goose Island Brew Pub $4 16 draft pour into Nonic glass). Golden Brown pour, medium carbonation. light bubbly thin head. Bread yeast aroma and hoppy bread taste.Dry crisp taste, medium carbonation and texture. Overall OK offering, would have liked a little stronger or with a more bitter hops taste.

Not sure aabout this one. Listed as a scottish ale. IT isn’t super hoppy. A bit earthy, lots of almost savory malt delivery.

Found this one hard to rate because while it was good, it fell short in a lot of areas. A little mild and thin.
