COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Not bad. Kind of reminds me of Bell’s Two Hearted Ale excepted maybe a little sweeter. Lots of cascade hops. Eggshell head and orange looking. Decent.

355 ml bottle. Golden orange with a glowing haze. Quite a bit of carbonation. Orangey, piney and honey aromas. Clearly huge amounts of hops being used. Citrusy, sweet and sour, and some bitter, flavours. Medium-bodied, but with a good malty sweet body and background. Main focus is hop aroma, with a healthy dose of bittering hops. Finishes slightly dry and not too bitter. Great IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2006 Everything that an IPA should be. Well hopped, but not as complex as Founders IPA or Bells Two Hearted Ale. $5/case less than other top IPAs.

Bottled. Good mild IPA from Goose. Decent gold/yellow color, light but fomay head. Hoppy aroma, but not over-powering. Same on taste. Good stuff.

Orange with a rough big bubble head. Big fruity hop aroma, like a super charged ESB. I nice drinker. Plenty of hops and dusty malt. Flavour has strong fruit notes similar to the aroma. Intriguing.

Not a big fan of IPA’s but this was a fairly decent one. Not too harsh and the taste wasn’t too rancid. I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this again but there are other brews I would run away from first.

Bottle from Hy-Vee Liquors poured into 16oz shaker - Pours dark golden brown with a 1.5 finger beige head that goes away fairly fast; Lots of hops and a hint of caramel to the nose; A citrusy initial taste that has a BIG floral side to it; A piney backtaste that doesn’t overpower at all; No bitterness what so ever! I’m quite impressed!

12 oz. Bottle. Pours an almost clear light golden color a nice white head and lacing all the way down the glass. Pine and caramel in the nose. Pine, grapefruit, and toasty caramel flavors that balance with the hop bitterness at the end. Good IPA.

Pours a med. chill hazed amber with a white frothy head. Aroma is citrusy but mild with some caramel character. The body is med-light. The flavors are rather formulaic East Coast IPA with some citrus and pine, a touch of caramel, but nothing really impresses. Dry light bitterness in the finish. My wife says it’s a nice APA. I would not disagree.
