COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

This beer pours a dark orange color with a pretty nice sized white head. Lacing around the glass sticks nicely and doesn’t fade to fast. Smell of citrus and hops sticks out. Flavor of hops and malts. Slightly bitter but very good.

Very nice hoppy beer. Clean fresh tasting citrusy hops really stand out, and thick feel to it carries nice.

Sampled at Central New York Brewfest, Syracuse NY. 06FE10.

App.: Slightly hazy deep golden with a rim of white. Aroma: Really piney hops, earthy, floral, a little citrus, some caramel maltiness. Palate: Medium body and sharp effervescence. Flav.: Lots of pine hops, plenty of caramel, peachy esters, floral, earthy tones; off-dry with reasonable bitterness.

Nice IPA.

Bottle, 5.9%. Good caramelly and grassy aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, with a caramelly sweetness and a good grassy hop flavour. Mild bitterness, not so strong, but clean. Well-balanced. Good mouthfeel.

355ml bottle. Porterhouse, Dublin. Deep gold body, thick persistant white foam. Aggressive hop aroma; lots of pine and grapefruit. Full body, sticky texture, high carbonation. Even more brutal hop on the body, spicy woodiness, citrus rind, very aggressive bitterness making a highly dry finish. Full on IPA, that lacks a bit of malt backbone.

Tap at RNH. Pours a light clear copper with a nice lasting frothy head. Aroma is clean grassy herbal and light citrus hops- doughy malts, light caramel and toffee and fairly fruity even for the style. Flavor is light citrus - mostly clean overall, toasted malts, light crystal, slight Amarillo tropical note, light pine and more citrus as it warms with some extra fruity hints as well- finish is pretty clean- well balanced and nice standard IPA.

Pours orange with white head, aroma is citrusy hops with some bready malt. Taste is fruity up front with orange and lemon, leading into a biscuity and bready malt that finishes bitter. Nice IPA.

Hazy peach pour with a small, though nicely lasting white head. The aroma is juicy pine, earth, citrus, lemon, orange, and sappy resin. The flavor is fruity orange, tangerine, and apricot with definite backnotes of sappy resin, earth, and some sweet malt. The palate is medium bodied for the style with a lively caressing effervescence and a clean, flavor retaining finish.
