Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Aroma is moderately hoppy with a strong floral scent. A nice golden color with noticeable haze upon opening. Taste is definitely the beer’s best asset. It goes down smooth, hoppy, and bittersweet, never too hoppy, sweet, or heavy. It’s just right. A personal favorite and one of the best IPA’s I’ve had

Pours a opaque yellow-amber color that reminds me of passion fruit. Head was thin and white, but pretty stable throughout the entirety of the drink. Smells of citrus fruits and some hops. The taste had less fruity overtones and more floral hops and spices, although there was a slight citrus bit to it. Decent amount of carbonation and kick. As my first IPA, I was definitely impressed and will look forward to trying others.

Pours light straw gold with a decent white head. Nose is incredible with plenty of spicy hops, citrus, pine, grassy with hints of light malt. In the mouth, initially hops, but very well balanced with some light malt, and a lingering hop bitterness. An amazing example of an IPA... The best one I’ve had.

Pours a strawberry blond color with a creamy head. It has a nice floral hop taste and smell. It has a slightly mild butter scotch aftertaste.

Bottle: Dark straw color with a lot of haze. A finger of thick, creamy off-white head and heavy lacing. Straightforward aroma is floral, citrus, and caramel. Rather sweet. Big impact right away with the taste. Full of hoppy pine resin, florals, and citrus. Caramel malts. Rather intense and syruplike body sticks to the mouth. Nice finish is hoppy and lingering. Nice.

Golden brown beneath a foamy white head. Lemony, herbal hop aroma. Clean bitterness, grainy malts, light citrus, some pine and a lingering soapy flavor. Spicy herbal hop flavor lingers on past the finish.

355 mL bottle. Clear orange-gold with a small, quickly dissipating, white head. Lotsa citrus hop in the aroma with a little spruce and sweet caramel underneath. Flavour is relatively well balanced. The malt profile is simple and a little "thin," but it makes enough of an impact to prevent this one from being one-dimensional. Hops in the finish, but they don’t linger, which wouldn’t be a terrible thing. Pretty good, though.

Hazy yellow golden pour covered by a creamy white head. Wonderful citrus hop aroma. Flavor is initially sweet, but quickly gains a terrific grapefruity bitterness that lasts and lasts. Medium to full bodied, the beer builds some foam in the mouth, and this is the weakest part of an otherwise near ultimate American IPA. It has been a reference American IPA for my part for the last couple of years.
