COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours a lighter orange color with a medium white head. Aroma is of citrus and pine hops with caramel and a hint of sweet malts. Flavor starts off with the citrus and pine that gives way to the sweet malts and caramel. Finishes slightly bitter. Better then I expected on this one, but not my favorite IPA.

It pours a carmel orange with a small white head, the hop aromas are cascade like piney bit of citrus and malty. The flavor is carmel and malt with some hop bitterness that lingers. Probably their best year round brew.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2008 It pours hazy orange with a small frothy head. Aroma is lightly malty and heavy perfume hopps. Flavor is heavly bitter and the finish is the same, Light to medium bodied, a bit watery and lively .

Bottle. Nice hazy amber appearance with a thick ring of bubbles. Nose-sweet hops, PNW hops, and pine. Taste-medium bitter, Earl Grey tea, Fruit Loops, lime, citrus, grapefruit, low-medium sweetness. Very solid IPA. Probably one of the most well crafted understated IPA’s that I have had in quite some time. True to style and tame in all the right ways.

Bottled. Hazy golden in colour. Minor white head. It has a bitter aroma of malt and juniper berries. The flavour is sweetly bitter and there are hints of juniper berries. It has a pleasantly sweet aftertaste.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2006 355ml bottle. Smells like sweet, Pine needles. My first IPA. Full and rich flavor. Soapy in the middle. Tastes like someone swept up after one took out the Christmas tree and made it into a beer...Slight banana taste also. Chill down a little and it is really quite nice.

after having a few bottles of this beer over the last few days I decided to rate this. ffrom the bottle, poured copper with a nice off white head with some lacin. aroma a nice sweet hoppness comes out first, than caramel, orange, some floral. flavor a dry hop spicey, some malts sneak out, couldn’t get the sweetness or caramel I got in the aroma. This has got to be one of the better IPA’s I have had from a bottle no harshness just a nice smooth beer Glad I picked up a 6er bad thing is I am drinking my last bottle have to get more.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Not too sweet hoppy aroma with weak hints of caramel. Flavour is hayish hops with almost no sweetish notes around. Hoppy bitterish aftertaste.

Thanks to Dan at Gannon’s for this... Appears a hazy orange toned amber with small amounts of CO2 slowly rising to the top. Fluffy white head slowly fades into a mild cap. Nice streaks of lacing. Smell is of creamy vanilla, orange citrus, delicate spice...kinda like a spiced up orange cream sickle with a touch of earthiness. Taste is of the above mentioned aromas with an herbal quality that seems to play well together. Mouthfeel is hoppily spiced and sweet at the front of the tongue leading to a medium bodied balanced brew.
