3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lightly cloudy yellowish color. Citrusy aroma dominates. Flavor is very hoppy but not crazy bitter. Decent malt bill too.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[355ml bottle at the Oakford Social Club, Reading] Pours a surprisingly thick amber-gold with a thin white head and slight fizz. Strong floral aroma. Floral hops dominate the flavour with a biscuit-y malt behind. Fleeting hints of juicy citrus in the middle (this needs to be souped up a bit) with a dry piney finish. Bitter, but less so than I expected. Left a little sulphur behind. Not up to what I was hoping for, but OK.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
An excellent IPA!! This beer has a wonderful hop taste, and not too bitter! Smooth and clean, but enough bitterness to make you take notice. This is one of my favorite IPA’s!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of spicy hops and nice malt. Nice malt flavor- hops balance well with it. Spicy hop flavor is prevelent in aftertaste. Lacing on the glass.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a nice light amber color with a medium head and lingering thin lacing. Light/medium body. It has a nice light aroma with some fruit. The flavor has a good amount of hops, but not very bitter for an IPA. The flavor is balanced, with a little malt and citrus. If anything the flavor is a bit understated, except for the loud hops. This is an above average IPA, but the flavor doesn’t have enough complexity to make it an exceptional IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear, light amber with a towering, tan head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma is buttery biscuit, some lemon, light citrus, tropical fruits. Taste is similar with lots of bready malt, lemon, fruits. Not very bitter. Buttery, rich on the palate. Not bad but fairly mediocre. A lovely session beer, but I would put this more as an amber ale than an IPA. But maybe this is just what a normal IPA is like rather than a enormous hop-bomb. I would perhaps use this as a starter beer for those just getting into the craft beer scene.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2011 Cloydy, light yellow beer with medium white head. Aroma is quite very fresh and aromatic, full of tropical fruits, peaches, mangos and grapefruits also lots of fructose. Flavour is quite similar than aroma, fruits, peaches, mangos and medium bitterness with grapefruits that dryes the aftertaste nicely. Pleasant to drink, quite low carbonation and surprisingly sticky and almost full bodied. Fruity hops dominates to Goose Island IPA, but even more hops would be great, because a strong body could be handle that easily; great and enjoyable beer.
