3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 25, 2009 Golden hazy hue. One finger of quickly dissipating head. Very small bubble lace that is also quick to disappear. Nice steady lemony hops aroma with some citrus in both the taste and aroma. Creamy medium body mouthfeel. Nice sweet maltiness to balance the hops. Very steady avg IPA. May be a good session beer

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from The City Beverage Co, Old Street. Pours amber with a small white head. Nicely balanced bittersweetness, a touch of fruit and a dry hoppy finish. This is the kind of beer I could keep a stock of, extremely drinkable and great with a variety of foods. In all honesty, it prolly would’ve scored higher if I hadn’t had so many double IPA’s as of late.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear pale color with champagne like bubbles and plenty of fluffy head and lace. Aroma is good lots of fresh hops very piney and grassy. There is a good bitter flavor fresh spicy hoppiness balanced by a mild roasty pilsner like maltiness. The palate is sharp, this is considerabally better than I remember.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a very good IPA. Extremely well balanced between bitterness and taste. The aftertaste of this beer is delicious as well. I usually go back and forth between this beer and Dogfish Head 90 Minute in a night.

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2009 Bubbly pale orange with a sustained head.
Sweet and floury aromas. Honeyed sweetness on the tongue. Very smooth with a buttery thick finish. A little sweet for an IPA. I know my score seems harsh but I drank this straight after a Stone IPA and there really is no comparison. 2.7
Now, having had this alone I have to say it is rather lovely. The hop notes are so green and fresh. It reminds me of a Thornbridge Halcyon on a not-so-intense scale.
