COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Poured from bottle...Nice golden color. Slightly cloudy. Small head, but very nice lace. Light, fruit taste, some hops, but not real bitter. This was a great beer.

(Tap) Pours a light brown with a medium-sized white head. Hoppy aroma and flavor, with fruity notes as well. Malty notes balance and smooth the beer. Nice finish, with a great hoppy aftertaste.

pours cloudy orange with white head. wonderful hop aroma, citrusy and spicy with a hint of pine. Flavor starts with malt then leads to strong hop flavor, fruity and citrusy, sharp bitter bite in the finish. A nice crisp IPA.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2007 12oz bottle from the pub pack. My first IPA. Hops and loads of them. The smeel is definitely grapefuit as someone mentioned, I couldnt think of it until I saw that. Grapefruit and hops. Pours a golden oragne with a nice white head laces the glass well, and it sticks around for a little bit. The taste is wonderful, first a citrusy malt, then a bitter kick and a nice medium finish on the palate. Body is medium-light. Great beer.

This offering from Goose Island pours a foggy dirty blonde that leaves a thick frothy tan head that leaves a sticky residue that stays with this head. The aroma is honey, hops citrus, earthy west coast feel to this IPA. The taste actually starts malty sweet, folllowed by healthy dose of bitterness as not to forget this is a IPA. This IPA continues to take your palate on a herbal, honey, tea, ride and the finish is very nice. This is a quality IPA if it were distributed around here I would have this in my fridge all year.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2007 Light amber/orange color, with an impressive off-white head. Very nice lacing. Inviting pine/citrus aroma. Flavors are an extension of the aroma, but add to that some malt, and then round it all out with a pleasant bitterness. Very smooth, and extremely drinkable. My glass is already empty, so I think I’ll have another.

Bottle. Pours a a hazy orange color witha fine looking off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is all hops, floral, pine, sweet. Taste is grapefruit, pine, a knock of malt. Palate is very smooth, medium body, bitter finish that lingers! Ver nice all the way round. Why it has taken me sooo long to try this I’ll never know. Solid everyday drinker.
