3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Golden with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of resiny pine hops. Flavour of citrus and elderflowers with a lengthy dry finish. Very pleasant.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Highly disappointing IPA, especially after its wonderfully classy citrus/pine aroma that does not overwhelm or lie resident in your nostrils for the better part of the week. Flavor is confused, hopped yet chalked, and it sits on the tongue like you just licked a blackboard. Too bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice IPA but alittle disappointing as it lacked the strong hoppy flavor I prefer. It also lacked a dry hop aroma and a strong initial taste. This beer did have a decent hoppy aftertaste but not as good as the better strong American IPAs (particularly from the west coast).

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. A good IPA, the bitterness was on the lighter end of what I feel a IPA should have, but the hops were all flavor and aroma. The initial taste there is a slight hint of coffee. I might have had a bad bottle but there was a slight taste of wet cardboard, like a oxidized beer.

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34- thanks Kris!
Pours out a nice light hazy orange. Slight white head and lacing. Nose is of spicy earthy hops. Taste- hops at the front of the tongue- not a huge hop bite, slightly oily, heavier on the bitter side. Bitterness slides into a solid malt backbone. Good balance- finish is woody and dry. Nice mouthfeel and good carbonation. Classice american IPA stylings. Nice combo of traditional british IPA and left coast American IPA.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Murky dark orange pour with a nice white head. Not a ton of hops in the aroma, as I was expecting. Flavors were sweet with a nice hop base. Very nice dry end.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Commercial, but very pleasant IPA. Lots of hop, kind of short in taste, almost green in colour, easy drinkable for an IPA. Dies quite fast in the glass. Drink fast!

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 I don’t go for this style of beer. I like things a little on smoother side. While this is a well crafted beer I just don’t care for many Pale Ale’s
Grapefruit notes for sure.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
35,5 cl bottle at Patricks in Kristiansand, Norway and at home the day after. Unclear golden color, nice off-white head (small head at Patricks). Fruity (tropical), hoppy, caramel malt. Good, but a bit watery compared with my favorite, Nøgne Ø.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color. Pungent piney hop aroma. Extremely light taste. Bright hop flavor is fruity - passionfruit, citrus rinds. Solid malt backbone. Bitter finish. Excellent. Completely to style.
