COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours a hazy light amber, with a head that fades to lacing quickly. Nice hop flavor, not too much of a finish. Decent IPA, but doesn’t compare to most of the others I’ve tried.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2007 April 7, 2006; 12 oz. bottle. Cloudy orange pour; what little head dissipates quickly. Sparse lacing. Citrus aroma with notes of malt. The long-lasting dry bitterness on this one garnered an extra "palate" point, although the finish is a tad thinner than my favorites of the style. Pretty decent IPA.

Re-rate on July 3, 2007: Exceedingly well-balanced, with a welcome malt bias. A winner.

I have been drinking nothin but IPA’s for the past couple weeks, and they are all starting to blend together for me. This one was really good too, nice amount of hops for this hop fan. Not to fruity. To many ipas claim to be the "hop lovers dream" though.

A good example of a traditional American IPA. Has a piney, citrus hop nose with a predominantly bitter pine finish. The malt backbone is slightly sweet and the carbonation helps dry this sucker out. A very quaffable lawnmower beer.

Pours a golden yellow straw color with a white head. Aroma is malty with some bitter citrus hops. Flavor is malty with grassy citrus hops.

Pours with an orange body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It bitter and hoppy with piney notes, a slight floral note and a little grapefruit with a touch of malt . Medium bodied and a bit warming.

Pours a light copper color into pint glass. Decent head and decent lacing. Aroma is overwhelming hops. Very strong aroma. Taste starts bitter than envelops you with a sugary sweetness and then the hops come back in for a bitter bite as it goes down. Finish is a little cloying. Definitely gets better closer to room temperature than fridge temperature. Very drinkable IPA, up there with Bells Two Hearted for very sessionable IPAs.
