COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pale gold color, nice head, frothy and lots of lacing. Mild aroma of grapefruit. Flavor was a tad weak and disappointing, as hinted by the pale color, I guess. This was more of a pale ale than IPA. Not bold or assertive in any way. Good, but not to style. Refreshing, that’s about it.

Good hoppy American IPA. Sweet aroma with a good solid hop flavor which I really enjoy. Thick white head slow to disintegrate.

Awesome IPA. Lots of hop aromas than reflect beautifully in the flavor with some hints of sweetness and a solid bitter finish. great beer.

Unclear orange and creamed head. Nice hoppy fruitaromas and also very wellrepresented with hops in the flavor. Dry and crispy in the finish.

Poured from bottle (8/2008). Lotsa hop in the aroma, as it should be. Cloudy amber, thin head persists. High amount of hops in flavor, but not overwhelming, and a great blend with the malt. Creamy feel. Good finish. Another great IPA made in the USA.

Pours a dark yellow, almost orange color with a small head that lingers for a long time. Sweet hops smell with a taste that is even sweeter. Nice bitter finish.

draft at brewpub- a nice and tasty beer with a fine crisp dry finish that I always enjoy in this style. Although far from the best in class, I would go to again.

Pours a clear copper amber with thick white head that dissipates to a bit thinner layer. Aroma is strong caramel and hops. Flavor is solid hops with caramel undertones. Pretty standard IPA nothing amazing to note. Body is light the high carbonation.

Crushed a lot of these last weekend at pitchfork music festival at Union Park. Really everything you could want in an IPA: nice strong hop taste, good caramel backing. But, honestly, in the 90+ degree heat, it’s hard to drink a lot of these. I still did, but it was hard. But, you know, I’ve always believed hard work reaps big rewards.

Amber colored with a modest aroma for an IPA. Great hop/malt balance and not as much floral bitter as most IPAs made with the american hops. Good IPA.
