COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

bottle. London. pours amber with a substantial white head that lingers. nice hops flavor, but not over powering like some craft IPAs.

Pours a light copper color into pint glass. Decent head and decent lacing. Aroma is overwhelming hops. Very strong aroma. Taste starts bitter than envelops you with a sugary sweetness and then the hops come back in for a bitter bite as it goes down. Finish is a little cloying. Definitely gets better closer to room temperature than fridge temperature. Very drinkable IPA, up there with Bells Two Hearted for very sessionable IPAs.

A very nice NW-style IPA with a nice hop-to-malt complexity. I wish it was sill available in Oregon in bottles. Great green labels and awesome grapefruity piquancy. Try it if you can.

Draft. Yeah, some guy had to leave cause his girlfriend was under 21, but he paid for his beer anyway. So me and alexanderj reaped the benefits. It was an average IPA, decent floral hops.

Got this for free after some patron bought his beer and left. Split it with golubj. Flavor and aroma were ok for an IPA, but generally it was a bit disappointing. Aroma and flavor were dominated by a floral and some citrus hop presence.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2007 Fluffy-headed golden tulip. Iíve only sniffed it and itís already Beer Of The Evening. A seductive, encloaking fog of sweet floral hoppiness, pine and succulent mandarin. Silky lace clinging to the glass. Quinine bitter hop dryness in the finish. Hugely smooth, fruitily refreshing and absolutely drenched with perfumey tangerine and Turkish delight flavours. A lip-smacking bottle of hops more than worthy of the tulip treatment.
