3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden orange with a creamy head. Lovely strong peach and grapefruit aroma thanks to the generous helping of hops. Translates to a nice strong bitterness that seems to balance well. Medium bodied with a good carbonation level and a fairly long finish. Quite refreshing, and amounting to a good regular drinking beer

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber with a rich white head. Pungent citrus and floral aroma with some underlying malty sweetness. Sweet caramel flavour nicely balanced by grapefruit bitterness. Dry finish. Quite soft, medium body. A wonderful, and dangerously drinkable IPA.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2007 I love beers like this. Aroma is grapefruit and gooseberry out its nut. Taste is similarly full of citrus flavours with sweetness coming off the malts, not a big bold chewy body, but a good sweetness, to make it one of the most drinkable beers iv had in a month or two. Get me a case of this so i can have a few days off.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from the bottle, a clear amber with a good frothy head. A beautifully strong aroma very floral with sweet citrus fruit. Flavour is caramally malt with a hoppy bitterness all the way through the mouth, leaving a quite pleasant dryness. Delicious.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Amber body, nice white head, slightly hazy, low carbonation. Intense floral, herbal and perfume notes in the aroma; traces of yeast in the background. Taste is mildly sweet (caramel, licorice) beautifully, balanced by a strong nutty, resiny and dry hops profile, and followed by a very long and pleasant finish, definitely bitter. Not an extreme IPA but a very well balanced and addictive brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle of 355 ml from Vinmonopolet, Norway. Pale brown. Thin head. Dominated by hops all the way through. Hoppy aroma, hoppy flavour and hoppy aftertaste - and I like it.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2006 12 oz Bottle: Pours a light golden-orange-yellow color. An average off-white head. Aroma is very floral, some hops, yeast, breads, etc. The flavor is sweeter than most IPAs. Rather cirtusy (lemons and oranges), hops, maybe a little nutty, some definite caramel notes, and I feel like there is a balance of the "dry malt middle", a rather good taste. Even though its a little thin and watery. i disagree with the dry discription they give it themselves, and would say its a sweeter watered down version of a west coast IPA -which sounds bad, but its not too many West coast IPAs are over the top, and this is very good.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(02.11.06) On tap at Firkin’s, Libertyville, IL Clear amber hued ale having a giant long-lasting white head with good lacing. No discernable carbonation. Hop/sweet malt aroma. Medium-bodied ale that starts with light malt sweetness and citrusy (grapefruit) hop flavor. Finishes with a light malt fade and some lingering hop bitterness. A good drinkable IPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I’m no fan of IPA’s. They are too hoppy. There are only one or two I can think of that are appealing to me. This one is hoppy, although I won’t hold it against the brewer. I can recognize a better than average IPA when I taste one. This one pours a light brown from the bottle. Good head retention and lacing. There is that distinct hop aroma that dominates the flavor as well. The palate is quite characteristic, but that’s why I gave it an average rating. As far as drinkability goes, well I wouldn’t drink more than one or two at a time before I had to drink something else.

A tasty little IPA, very well balanced, lots of resiny hops oils in the nose, a ton of citrus, nice medium bodied mouthfeel with a great hop character and nice carbonation. Very enjoyable, with a clean finish.
