Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop loverís dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one youíll remember.

Pleasent, sunny aroma. Poured well with a nice, white head. Although a little to bitter for my palate. Also, the after taste lingered longer than I like. Would recoment if you enjoy an IPA.

Golden orange with a white head. Sweet floral aroma with some citrus. The taste had a little malt and then fruit, which lead to a sharp grapefruit hoppiness. Excellent.

From a 12 oz. twist cap long neck brown bottle with a best before date on the back label, 06/26/06. Made a good appearance, poured a hazy reddish and orange hued golden with a foamy white that settled into a thin foamy lacing, small amount of sticking, moderate carbonation. Had a spicy, grassy hop nose with a light floral and fruity aromas, also a touch of grain. A crisp, mild dry hop texture and smooth light bodied mouth feel, good drinkability. Good IPA taste, a dry spicy rind and grassy hop bitterness, mild and rolling on the tongue, toasted grainy malty with a very subtle fruitiness in the middle and a dry hoppy and grainy finish with a lemon rind lingering in the palate. A nice and tasty AIPA from Goose Island, a good everyday IPA.

One of the better Indian Pale Ales I have had. Wish we could get this beer in Tennessee, but as with it seems most good beers, you canít.

12 oz bottle - Pours golden with a white head. Aroma has floral hops with a little malt backing it up - mainly hops here though. Medium bodied bodied with sharp carbontion. Taste is sharp with not much malt to speak of - very hoppy. Floral spicy hops mainly. With the lively carbonation mixing with the spicy hops this comes off even more spicy and biting - it this case that is a good thing. While this isnít the most complex IPA out there, everything that is here is good. A nice enjoyable IPA.

Pours deep golden with a long lasting off=white head. Subdued pine scent, some metal as well. Good hop flavor with a touch of grapefruit. Decent bitterness. Another good IPA.

Clear golden brew with medium thick small bubbled head. Good sticky lacing. Nice hoppy smell. A little milder smell than I expected. A slight metallic aroma. Nice hoppy taste. A little too much malt for an IPA. For the most part well balanced but there could easily be more hoppy flavor in this one. Slightly grainy finish. Smooth feel. Dry bitter finish. Enjoyable but missing a little something...

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2006 Pours a nice straw orange color with a creamy head that dissipated pretty quickly. Aroma has a nice balance of malt and spicy hops. That taste is surprisingly very smooth with a bitter fruity aftertaste that lingers. I really enjoyed this IPA.

Bottle courtesy of ross. Pours a hazy orange with a large mostly lasting creamy off-white head. Nice aroma of citrus and pine hops along with some malt. Flavourís also hoppy along with some sweetness to balance it out and a nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. This is a really good and refreshing IPA -- great stuff!

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2006 I was pleasently suprised by how good this was. This IPA really is as good as any other American IPA Iíve had. Huge hop aroma and huge citrusy grapefruit aroma. Has all the best qualities that an IPA has that I enjoy.
