3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A little disappointing in the hop department. Has a slightly bitter nose, very biting. The malt is apparent in the aroma. Nice amber coloring, slightly hazy. Flavor is nice and balanced, which is nice for most, though I prefer more hop profile, hence my disappointment. Smooth finish, with a touch of fruit (citrus) at the end. Overall, not my preferred IPA, but I wouldn’t turn it down.

Bottle. Poured a fine amber with a bubbly white head. Smells of piney hops and a hint of fruit. Nice dry mouthfeel, with a hoppy bite. Smooth drinker. Nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours slightly hazy, golden brown with a smallish head. Smells distinctively of hops, with a touch of yeast. Supurbly balanced; a stong hop presence that doesn’t overwhelm. In fact, the hop seems quite in harmony with the malt, a rarity in IPAs. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this beer, but yet somehow it just doesn’t seem remarkable in any real way, either.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Well this beer comes highly recommended to me. The beer pours orangish amber in color with ample light beige head. The aroma is a nice balance of floral hops, caramel malt, and fruity yeast. The flavor is upfront bitterness followed by a solid caramel toffee sweetness and a lingering hop finish. This is what an IPA should be hoppy and balanced, and thusly very drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazy orange beer with a beutiful white head. The aroma is light - especially for an IPA - but there are some hops to be detected. The flavor is sweet grassy - quite nice - and with a dry end.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Vibrant golden, clear, moderate white frothy head, fairly nice lacing, lively carbonation. Corn oil nose, slight perfume, only a smidgen of hops. Somewhat bland up front, with an emergence of tea or tobacco leaves near the end. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Slightly sweet finish, with the hops only coming out at this point. Overall, a light IPA thats fairly clean but could stand to be less transparent up front.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured orange with a thick white head. Very hoppy aroma with citrus, graitfruit and pine. Taste started out a bit too graitfruity but smoothed out quickly. The mouthfeel had a solid citrus and pine combination. Good example of the style overall.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
A favorite IPA. Not quite as robust as some but excellent nonetheless. More on the order of Alpha King than Two Hearted, say. Consistently great, nicely balanced.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orangey pour. Big rush of hops right off the bat, but the aromas seem to blow off over time. Mild malty backbone coated with piney hops. Thin bodied. Very similar to the Hopscotch, but the APA seemed fresher.
