Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Light, clear copper body with a small white head. Aroma is citrus and freshly cut grass. Taste is pleasantly bitter, with oranges and lemons. Good session IPA and a great value.

Pours with a light copper hue with good head and lace. Aroma was piney and fruity with some roasted malt and grassy notes. Initially the taste was piney and mildly bitter. In the middle it showed some fruitiness on the edges and a malt presence that I didn’t expect. The finish dry and there was a definite bitter hop flavor. Mouthfeel was more or less smooth and a notch or two above what I would call "thin". Probably more of an APA than an IPA, but a good one no matter how you classify it. Thanks DavidP!

Lovely stuff. Clear copper. Huge, puffy white head. Nice nose, lots of orange and citrus, sweet malts as well. Good flavor, hops are quite noticeable without being overpowering, tart and citric, but beautifully balanced stuff, lots of caramel and butterscotch. Creamy as well. Leaves a nice floral aftertaste. Really good stuff.

Copper-orange color. Citrus and fruity aroma. Little bitter and malty. Slightly weak character as IPA, but I like this taste. One of my best beer!!

Sparkling copper body topped by a substantial slightly off-white head. The wispy glass lace is a treat. The aroma of piney hops hits you the minute the cap is popped. Deep inhaltions only comfirm the pine hops, but also add a bit of light non-offensive plastic, and light caramel sweetness. The flavor is packed with juicy hops with a smattering of sweet malts swirling around to keep things under control. The body is medium with a fairly attenuated finish. Bitterness develops throughout culminating in a big bitter burst right after the swallow. Nice enough, though it does make my palate weary even though it is not nearly as big as some other hop monsters out there.

Sweet, hoppy, spicy aroma. Nice slightly milky golden tan color. Aroma bursts on the palate with lots of hop. Smacks slightly bitter, but pleasently complex.

Thanks to Duane for this. Dark straw pour, with a medium, fizzy white head that dissipated quickly. Wow, the aroma. Reminds me of Titan. Huge piney esters coupled with resiny florals. Almost perfect aroma. Now, for the taste.....I bring it to my eager mouth.....hoppy, very hoppy, with some floral, fruity, spicy hints at mid palate and at the esophageal boundary. As it warmed, more intense pinet resins emerged. This beer is as underrated as a 50 cent, disease-free whore with 3 inputs.

Pours hazy orange golden with a solid white head. Aroma is mostly bitter and flower hoppy, not very heavy but nice and fresh. Flavor is fruity and hoppy with a good bitter end and nutty notes. Little thin in the body but still nice and tasty. An easy drinkable IPA.
