Big cascade hop nose. Tons of fresh hop flavor. Not a lot of malt, but the freshness of the hops is enough to make up for this shortcoming. Not terribly complex, as it allows hops to tell the whole story.

Nice hop aroma with delicate golden brown color. Piney hops up front. Wish there was more malt in back to better balance the hops. Mild for an IPA but will buy it again. On draught I'll bet it is superb.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This one starts out with a big hoppy aroma (very nice, a little citrus touch...kind of like a milder version of the Alpha King aroma) and dark golden color with decent white head. Flavor is mostly hoppy, but not overpoweringly so. Decent finish, though it could last a TAD longer to make this beer better. Overall, this is a nice, middle of the road IPA. It could use a little more depth to the flavor, though the aroma is very nice. If the taste of this beer was brought up to the aroma's level, it would be a very strong representative of IPAs.

Syrupy looking pale ale with a very hopped ginger beer aroma and flavour. An average beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft: This has a fresh hoppy aroma. Pours a dark golden with thin lacy head. Flavor is dry and oaky with a nice balance of malt and hops. The finish is slightly astrigently bitter, but overall enjoyable.

Wow! Great ale! Fantastic hoppy nose with a massive grapefruit kick. Pours with an amber hue and a small creamy head that is mostly diminishing. Flavour is initially sweet with great complex hoppy tones, but goes on to a dry finish. This is a highly hopped beer (of course being an IPA) that has been a real eye opener for me being the first American craft brewed offering I have sampled. The question that most begs to be answered is why do I have to go to a specialist to get this kind of American beer? Especially when perhaps the worst selection of beers in the world, American standard beer, is common place here in Britain. They give American beer a bad name. If this is what America has to offer then I just want more...
