Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

This was a very hoppy beer like it should be, both in the aroma and in flavor. I really liked this beer.

Decent over-all IPA. Aroma of strong hops and taste of strong hops and aroma of pine, strong hop, and very light fruit, perhaps peach. A good beer overall and a very decent IPA. Would buy again in a variety pack and maybe even on its own.

Bottle. Nice copper color with a fluffy white head that lasted and left a nice lacing. Wonderful hoppy aroma. Superb flavor of malt, with a touch of sweetness, dominated but, not overly so, by the floral hop flavor. Excellent mouthfeel makes this beer a keeper

Bottled. Poured clear and golden with a fine, off-white head. Citrus, floral aroma. Flavor is citrus (grapefruit), pine, caramel, and floral. Finish is nicely hoppy. Medium mouthfeel with low carbonation.

Shared with toddbates: aroma was floral and slightly grassy. the beer poured a darker shade of gold than a pils, with a big head that left a lot of lacing. flavor was grass on the front of the tongue, with floral and citrus qualities more on the back of the tongue. mouthfeel was medium bodied. An alright beer, but once again nothing really stands out about it.

I was looking for something to really stand out with this beer but nothing really did. It was hoppy but not nearly as hoppy as it would lead you to believe

Poured a nice attractive orange/amber color with decent white head that stayed for a while. The aroma was was of citrus fruit. The taste was hoppy but well-balanced by the maltiness. The mouthfeel was good and the drinkability of this IPA was way up there. I liked.

Bottled 355ml, from Sainsburys, Banbury. Dark amber with white head. I was prepared to be blown away, but wasn’t, sure there are hops in there, but they lacked some character and the malty sweetness is a bit odd for a true IPA, it masked much of the hop. There is bitterness in the finish with a fruity note, quite like Chinese gooseberries. A reasonable beer without being exceptional.

Pretty good size creamy head; fairly pale in color. Aroma: was expecting some American intense bitterness, but the nose on this is soft and floral with a tinge of grapefruit. I want to say roses are in there, but I could be pulling that out of my ***. The body is again, thinner than I expected and typically like, but actually was quite refreshing and enjoyable. Enough hops to keep me satisfied for an IPA, but also incredibly drinkable.
