3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
There are much better IPA’s in my opinion but I still enjoyed this a lot. The smell let it down, slight clorhine (sp?) kind of smell. Lacks knackers for a too high rate but drinkable enough for sure. A little bitter for me but I’m in no way slating this as I thought it was very nice.

Bottle, Ale Cellar, Darlington. There’s a goose loose in tha hoose...Pours a warm golden colour with thinnish white head. Citrus hop aroma, piney grapefruit hop flavour balanced nicely with maltiness. Superb hop bitterness to finish. Very drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Goose Island India Pale Ale is a slightly hazy amber color with an off-white/creamy colored head. The aroma is of spicy/mild hops and the taste is very light yet nicely bitter. This is a very easy to drink beer with a great taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a golden color with white head that falls slowly. Smells of spicy hops. Taste is all hop with a hint of licorice at the end. Medium body with mild carbonation. A good pale ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled at Monks Café, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear orange colour with copper hints. The foam sinks quickly. Really fresh and airy hop aroma of flowers, wet grass and dried oranges. Clean resinous, but not overly bitter flavour of orange-peels, flowers and minerals. Medium bodied. Long medium bitter finish of orangey and minerally hops. A well-balanced US IPA, well-made but lacks the bite.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer really embodies what an American-style IPA should be. Great balance between the malts and hops. It pours a copper color, not brilliant in appearance. Comes with a good head that lasts till the end. This is a pleasant beer that can be drank for awhile. Out of the tap it pours much clearer, and has a more noticeable hop aroma.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A Tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. Yet another good beer from Goose Island. This is a little lighter than most IPA’s. But is very good none the less.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
At Three cellars tasting. Amber with sweet hoppy aroma. Somewhat fruity tasting, decent hop finish though a little light for an IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy orange in color, head dissipates quickly. Hop pellets on the nose. Aroma and taste are consistent, balanced and consistent flavor throughout- evenness of hops. Mouthfeel is surprisingly creamy / heavy / suspended vs being sharp.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden amber body with white head and lacing. The aroma is wonderfully citrusy and floral. The flavor is similar with plenty of flowery hops, but is nice and clean on the palate. A nice balance of malts and hops. However, as an IPA, it’s not too striking.
