Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Bottle. Golden color, white head. Fruity aroma of pine and peach. Tastes is quite subtle, with some pine, peach and citrus. Bitter finish, very english indeed. Not bad, just very average.

Bottle. Pours clear, light amber with a fingers head of light foam. Nose is orange and sweet. Piney and grassy freshness. Really nice medium bodied, lots of Weight on the malt, giving the hops a nice balance. Dry on the ending... Really nice, earthy english ipa!

A very pleasant ipa! Pours a pretty orange w/ a white head that leaves good lacing. The aroma has a good hop kick. The taste is smooth in body w/ a nice hop presence in the finish. Drinkable & tasty. A quite nice ipa!

355 ml. bottle @ home. Bottled on 03/01/2015 – BBF 03/01/2016. I still cannot believe that I actually bought this in a supermarket (albeit an NL owned one) in Belgium. Hopefully this is one step closer to my dream of buying BCBS in the supermarket. Clear sparkling amber, creamy white head. Nose is oily USA style pine resin hops with a thicker than usual caramel malts, malts overpower the hops a bit. Taste is oily bitter pine resin hops, plenty of caramel malts, oily mixed with still with very American pine resin hops, light floral, flowers, oily tea, lots of oily tea pine resin tea & chamomile grapefruit peel, bitter very oily bark finish,… Oily med. carbonation body. Overall -> I have heard a lot of people say bad things about this beer & I have really no idea as to why? This beer is exactly what it promises on the label and English-Style IPA with USA hops. Nothing spectacular but as an everyday easy drinking beer this is really nice stuff. I really enjoyed, I really do not understand the people hating on this.
