Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Bottle as a gift from Espoo, Finland. BB Jun 2015. Translucent orange with a beautiful fluffy white top. Great retention and thick lacing. Sweet aroma of malts and tropical fruits, biscuity, caramelly, slightly spicy. Taste is more sweet than bitter, nice and refreshing, the resinous-grapefruity bitterness appearing somewhere in the finish but I wouldn’t say it lasts long. Body light to medium, carbonation quite soft, palate smooth. It’s a pretty good easy-drinking (maybe even sessionable) beer but I’d more happily support small breweries rather than Anheuser-Busch - can’t see myself ever buying a bottle/can/pint of this. Glad to have tried it though.

Poured a pretty light Amber color with a healthy head. Well balanced in the mouth with a bit of hops upfront.

Bitter orange, grass, layers of manly florals and perfect for winter. Its a bitter chocolate orange beer and it is insanely luscious and delightful. I get em in for Christmas to keep it special. Its a quality IPA, typically American, typically bitter, sweetness. Could be the king of IPAs. Seasons greetings hop nerds!

I normally prefer dark beer and was never much of a fan of IPA’s. Had this by chance. Very surprised and pleased. This will definitely be part of my Xmas cheer.

A pale golden yellow coloured beer with a thick white head. A heady hop aroma, loads of citrus fruit and grassy elements. Dry mouthfeel. A bitter, zesty citrus fruit hop taste, grapefruit, lime and possibly even orange flavours along side a grassy taste. The finish is lingering and citrusy.

Bottle, 355 ml at the Beehive, Gatwick. Pours hazy orange with small white head. Hoppy fruity aroma and flavor. Piney. Nice hoppy bitterness characteristic for american IPA.
