Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Draft. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Moderate hoppy aroma of grass, pine, floral and citrus, lightly malty with notes of caramel and resin. Taste reflects the aroma. Medium body, with a slightly slick texture. Average carbonation. Medium bitterness.

Kind of a deep apple juice color with small head. Biscuity malts and floral hops on nose. Nice balance of citrus & pine hops providing bittering against bready malt sweetness. Shorter finish with pronounced bitterness.

Fresh citrus and piney aromas. Easy palate with loads of hops, citrus fruits and grass. Well made ipa in all aspects.

12oz bottle. Dark gold light copper with white head. Malt and hop competing nose, some off fruit too. Taste is too sweet for style, a little off, maybe old. Not very good, and barely an ipa.

Cloudy light amber color with moderate activity. Faint creamy light brown 2 finger head, lasting around 5 to 10 minutes, with a very good amount of legs. Aromas of faint pine, sweet hops, with faint flowers. Flavors of soft pine, a little hoppy and buttery, citrus lemon and orange, herbal and floral spices. Nice balance with sugary yet highly sharp feel. Smooth slick full body with prickly carbonation. Medium strength finish, ending with a lingering citrus and piney coat, grassy and buttery. Overall good quality craft. Pleasant hops and not excessive. Good intensity and accessible. The smell is a little like wet cardboard with a small lack of freshness, but still alright. Does the job.

12 oz bottle shared by ebone1988. The pour is a clear darker golden yellow with a thin white head that falls down to a bubbly ring with a couple spots of lace. The aroma is a little old. There is some light hops left and a decent malt backbone here. There is a light lemongrass thing happening and this isn’t awful in retrospect. It’s just interesting. The flavor is strange. There is an old hop and malt thing happening. It’s sweet and lightly syrupy with a hint of fruitiness. I’m just not enjoying this one at all. The mouth feel is thinner and light with a slit under carbonation and a lingeringly sweet malt and hint of bitter hop and lemongrass on the finish. Oh well.

Bottle shared with koleminer20, for the book. Aroma is some citrus hops, tropical fruit, some bread, metallic, bitter. Appearance is golden amber, white head, clear. Taste is bitter, malty, citrus, bitter, lots of malt though. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light crisp carbonation, bitter citrus hops and malt aftertaste. Overall, this is decent but nothing special.

Piwo klarowne w kolorze slomkowo zlotym z niezbyt obfita biala piana. W aromacie czuc lekkie pomarancze, cytrusy i nuty kwiatowe. W smaku raczej wytrawne z goryczka i wysyceniem na srednim poziomie. Bardzo lekkie i pijalne, nie przesadzone w zadna strone wiec warto sprobowac.
