COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Tried at Edmonton Craft Beerfest 2015. Excellent IPA. Very crisp and light level of carbonation. Bright and refreshing citrus hop notes are balanced with a mild grassy bitterness.

Fairly typical, but also solid IPA. Tasty, good for summertime drinking, and pretty available these days. Rock on goose!

Nice light Golden beer with a white head, which fall a bit to quickly. Nice bitter aroma of citrus and fruit. The beer have a note of dried fruit and a medium body. I would have liked a bit more character on the hops. But overall a good beer.

The aroma is citrus with hints of spruce. The color is pale golden and clear with a light head. The taste is medium bitter. This beer is medium bodied with a slick texture. The carbonation is average. The finish is somewhat long. Overall this is a very tame yet uniquely balanced ipa. Good Job goose Island!

Thin fizzy piss with zero flavor. Score 94 overall? What a fucking joke. I mixed my cup up with wife’s blue moon. Couldn’t figure out which was which. Enough said. Pathetic.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 12/23/2014. Pours slightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, pine, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, bready malt, and fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, pine, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy herbal/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, pear, apple, pine, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice robustness and complexity of big citrus/earthy hops, with moderate bready malt and fruity yeast flavors; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice English IPA. All around nice robustness, complexity, and balance of big citrus/earthy hops, with moderate bready malt and fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

341 ml bottle. Unclear orange copper, thinner off-white foam mostly lasts. Citrus forest fruity aroma and taste, lean c-malt, harmonius and clean. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, well hopped. Classic lighter NAIPA. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)
