3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 14, 2014 On tap poured into a shaker. A citrus and bubblegum aroma are noticeable before the first sip with a faint floral or spicy note to it. As it settles, a toasted caramel malt aroma comes through, although nothing too strong, with a grass character as well. The oily looling, gold-yellow beer is topped by a light, white head that leaves an abundant, tight, microbubble sheet-like lace. A healthy ring is retained with a light cloud of surface coverage. This beer strikes a really nice balance between medium levels of sweetness and bitterness. A soft carbonation gives this beer a creamy smooth texture. The medium body is primarily bubblegum and citrus with a slight floral spiciness and some caramel mid-sip. It finishes clean and dry with a resin-like quality and a mellow aftertaste that combines a light, sweet citrus with a light grass and floral note that has an average, pleasant staying power.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a golden colored body with a small white head that immmediately died. The lacing was spotty and left no rings. There wasn’t any surfacing carbonation.
The smell was mostly floral with some pine in the background. The hops were mainly balanced with some light malts in there as well.
The taste was basically the pines and the malts with the hops coming back very faintly.
On the palate, she sat at medium, had a light carbonation, and was pretty sessionable.
Overall, this wasn’t a bad beer, but wasn’t anything spectacular but I was hoping for better.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at the Bankers Draft, Bedford. Amber/copper with loads of carbonation. Not so much head. I don’t care for the aroma: butter, soap and overripe apple. Taste is middle of the road sweet with a bitter tinge, short finish. Not a very enticing beer, I liked this when I was younger but not so much now.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber with a decent white head that disappears quickly leaving a thin ring and some lacing. Hints of pine and grass in the aroma. Taste is medium bitter and almost no sweetness. Average carbonation, light to medium body, flavors of grapefruit, maybe other citrus, no perceptible malt, medium texture and a solidly bitter finish that shows a sticky sweetness in the far finish.
