Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours a clear bronze, with a white head. Aroma has notes of citrus, pine, and floral hops. Tasting notes include notes of grapefruit, pine, and bready malts. Thus is a very good IPA!!

Out of a bottle pours a golden orange color with a light tan head. The smell is citrus, grapefruit, toasted malt. The taste is toasted malt, caramel, grapefruit ending fruity and dry. The body is light+ with average carbonation. This appears to be a two month old bottle...

- Light/lager colour. - Quite a fruity nose. Mainly candied orange; some grapefruit. Pine. Hint of passionfruit/tropical? - Body is medium and fairly clean (but still a little high-in the mouth, like the Honker’s - possibly due to wheat?); some grapefruit/orange but mostly toffee-ish malt. - Medium-long ride. Bit more orange-y hops at end. - Benchmark American-style IPA.

Tap at Sally’s on campus in a pint glass. Golden with some hints of orange. Minimal white head. Aroma is bitter and floral keeping the hops at the forefront. Pine and resin produce an oily mouthfeel of a typical IPA. Taste has floral qualities and citrus rind bitterness of the hops. Feels like a standard out of the box IPA and makes me long for the days when Goose Island took more chances. You can find better.

Poured from a can. Almost a candied fruit aroma, different from most IPAs I’ve had. Pours a slightly cloudy amber with white head and quickly dissipates. Has a medium bitter taste. Full bodied with a sticky texture. A really nice IPA that is not too harsh.

Fairly "lager" colored beer. Tastes great for a daily beer. Leaves your mouth clean in short time. Not much to smell unless you shake it.
