Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Wow, what a nice IPA! Not lacking any bitterness, it also has a nice subtle aftertaste! Love it!

J’adore. Cheers!

Bottled from UK Supermarket. Aroma is super interesting, smells like dried fruit but can’t quite nail what it is. Taste is almost perfectly bitter however it is r ather brief on the palate. Overall a damn tasty beer.

Pours an average frothy white head that slowly diminishes. Body is clear yellow orange, sparkles are visible. Aroma contains light malts (cookie, dark bread, straw), fairly strong hops (flowers, resin, grapefruit, lemon, orange zest,), moderate yeasts (soap, earth) and apple, forest fruits, cherry, pineapple and spices. Flavor is light acidic, then light acidic and light sweet, followed by light bitter and light acidic and finishing in bitter. Body is medium with creamy texture and soft carbonation. A nice IPA loaded with hoppy fruits and backed up by enough malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: from tap at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor. Aroma: light pine hop. Appearance: small, creamy, off-white initial head with fair lacing and mostly-diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter and citrusy initial flavor and finish with short duration. Palate: light-to-medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: refreshing.

Aroma is of nice hops and hints of detergent. Has good foam on top of a light copper body. Flavour is okay hops with some citrus. Weak on the mouth. It’s slightly below average for an IPA.

On tap at Pours out a light golden topped with a long lasting head. Nose is pretty much all malts with a touch of hops a little citrus and pine. Taste is dominated by the malty grain and the touch of hops. Forsure a very unhoppy ipa.

Bottle BBE: 21Oct15. Well-chilled. Clear amber body with a small number of floaters; medium-sized, creamy, patchy white head. Fresh aromas of cooking apple, lemon, lime and orange. High, but not over-powering bitterness to taste, with a little sweetness. Light-bodied, but not thin, the texture is quite slick. Fairly high carbonation and a bitter finish. Overall a solid American/English IPA crossover.
