jbrus (4018), Delft, Netherlands May 13, 2008 Bottle@Home. Strong sweet fruity aroma, mainly grapefruit, light floral. Light amber color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, pretty bitter, grassy, grapefruit, some yellow sweet fruit as well. Quite full with a dry finish. Flavorful, easy drinkable, guess it has all it needs for an IPA.
IsaacOh (1), Little Rock, Arkansas, USA does not count Jul 5, 2008 As a new beer drinker, I enjoyed the citrus and berry at the first few sips. Aftertaste was not overpoweringly bitter but nicely hoppy and went down very nicely with a pork chop dinner. Would most certainly buy again. vulcanmeister (48), La Grande, Oregon, USA Jul 5, 2008 Pours medium amber with abundant white lacing. Nice floral and grapefruity aroma. The taste is a nice balance of citrus, hops, and malt. Medium body and not overly bitter. Final taste is warm grapefruit and nice malty sweetness. A most enjoyable IPA! Krazyjon (7), Pensacola, Florida, USA does not count Jul 4, 2008 Copper-colored with loads of citrus for the nose. More citrus than pine on the palate but distintcly un-balanced towards hops, just the way an IPA should be. Completely under-rated here IMHO, this is my favorite straight IPA. Thank you Goose Island. dwaggs2 (11), Warrensburg, Missouri, USA Jul 3, 2008 This was the very first IPA I ever tried and it is still one of the best. Pours brown with a large white head. The hoppy taste is good on the palate. Goose Island knows their beers and this is one of their bests. sleepylopes (231), New York, USA Jun 30, 2008 back to an old favorite. Aroma is leafy foliage from the hops clean and a touch of copper. great finish that Is bitter but also sweet malt. Copper color and not much head.
