Our IPA recalls a time when ales shipped from England to India were highly hopped to preserve their distinct taste during the long journey. The result, quite simply a hop lover’s dream. And this classic ale adds a fruity aroma, set off by a dry malt middle, to ensure that the long hop finish is one you’ll remember.

Pours an bronzish, copper with a fluffy, pillowy white head. Very sticky lace. Nose is fresh grass, floral notes, mild lemon oils and citrus. Very crisp and clean flavor. Mild resiny pine and grapefruit pith, with a brown sugar sweetness. Oily with a fresh hoppy bite and a subtle malty backbone. Nicely palatable. Great session beer with obvious lower IBUs. Medium body. Nicely done.

Draft at CMH Chili's. Copper gold with plenty of white head and lacing and ample carbonation. Nose is mostly florals and orange zest. Flavor featured pine resin and a dry bitter finish...

Clear copper color with a standard white head that quickly disappear Aroma has clear hop influence and floral and pine notes comes in from the begin. Taste is not as well balanced as it might be excepted an in my opinion even though an IPA should have a strong hoppy flavor in this case the malt is not really perceived which is a let down. The finish is clear and hoppy.

Hop hop hoppiness! Tons of hop bitterness with a very light sweetness to the body. It calms nicely on the palate. I dig it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from America on Tap Deep yellow color with a decent head. Rich bready malt with plenty of pine and citrus to counter. Pretty good drinker, surprised I haven’t rated this before.

12 oz can poured on a flight to Dallas. Smells like hops and citrus. Tastes bitter with a nice hop finish. Drank it from a can so I can’t talk about appearance. Good beer. Very drinkable.

Where: Old Line Fine Wine Spirits & Bistro. How: 12 ounce bottle. Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a white foamy head. Aroma: Earthy and spicy hop aroma, decent. Taste: Earthy hop bitterness, with a caramel sweetness and malts. Palate: Medium body. Overall: Pretty much the quintessential IPA. Very good representation.

Prima IPA, vol aroma en dito smaak, met alles wel erin wat je verwacht. Passievrucht, citrus, wat overrijp fruit.

Bottle at home. Pours a polished amber colour with a white head that fades quickly. Rich aroma of resin pine and grapefruit. Sweet to start, then lots of balancing bitterness. Rich, sticky palate with rich, chewy grain and fruit. A powerful, bitter beer but not overpowering - a fine IPA.
